ran a tempo run today. 6 minute warrm-up tog et to the track. then ran 3.5 miles in 27:29 ( 7:55, 7:55, 7:53, 3:46). cool down to compelte total run of 42:09. average heart rate 149 max HR 166. | Add Comment |

Same course as last Satruday but last Satruday I left at 6:15 AM with temp in low 50's and this time I left just before 9 AM with temp around 70 when I started and 76 when I finished. I ran the SV trail in 19 flat (7:57 first mile and 11:03 second mile with monster hill). I was really dead once I came to the hill. hr average 149 and max 164. | Add Comment |

intended to run the 7.8 loop backward. however, I was just really tired and stopped an walked home with about 0.35 left.
total running time 66:09. ran the golf course bakwards from the alst several runs- first mile in 7:57 and the second mile of SV trail in 9 minutes. at around 40 minutes threw in 1 min fartlek x 3 weith one minute jog in between.
I had late church meetings Thursday night and only got about 6 hours sleep. I then got up early to run before going in for rounds at the hospital. I am sleep deprived and need a nap. I will be hot today adn I wanted to run before it got hotter. | Add Comment |

ran in the morning. total running time 41:50. Ran 18 x 45 sec hard with 45 sec easy. after 8 and 16 I took an additional 45 seconds of recovery time. distances is a wild guess.
