| Easy for pre-region tomorrow. I've been looking at my past race reports, and they all seem like I had regrets at the end, minus the distance challenge. I am usually timid the first part of a race, and end with a pretty good kick, but still have lots left in the tank. My goal for tomorrow is NO REGRETS. I want to know what times i can run and I'm not gonna know if I don't go all out. So if i run in the 20''s tomorrow and say i went all out, feel free to laugh. I'm laughing at myself with what bad shape I'm in. |

| Racing is crazy fun. I have no clue what time i got but i put in a good effort today. I don't want to go into much detail with this race, but I'm not trying to say this was a bad race. I know what i need to work at. I'm pretty pumped for BYU. It might be a while before i run decent or good times, but that's okay. I'm just glad to get back into racing. Shoutout to our varsity team (jamison, seth, justin, zack, galen, craik and josh) for winning it. Its about time for a new team to win something in our region besides AF |

| Another dissapointing race. I fell like i'm in just as bad shape as when I started a week and a half ago. Nest week i'm doing 3.5-4 miles a day. I need to do some kind of fast running besides racing. Maybe just a fast last mile or something. But I have a lot of things to work on. I believe I can still get some pretty decent times this season, I just have to work my way in right.

| Just another run on bonneville. Every run is still feeling pretty rough, but i can tell I'm starting to get back in shape. I made a goal today to be in the top 14 at wasatch rendezvous so i can race varsity at solider hollow because our 1-7 guys are gonna be at bob firman. 14Th place on the team got 18:31 at byu, so i need to drop at least 2.5 minutes off my time. It'll be tough, but i know i can do it. |

| Another crazy eventful 4 miles. My trek sister saw me with my shirt off and said that i'm skinny. I'm not racing tomorrow which is a pretty big bumma. Shoutout to josh for passing me on the mileage board. Also to zack because the palmer ridge patos are going to be a legendary knowledge bowl team. |

| Really good run at night. Did canyon road loop, i averaged a 6:55 mile without really pushing it! So thats faster than ny last 2 races lol. I'm pretty pumped to race again after today. |

| Another pretty good run at night. Went 7:15 pace for first 3, then 6:10 the last one. Happy with the last mile, it was all uphill. I can't wait to race next week! |

| Decent run. My stomach has hurting a bit at the beginning and I think it's from something I ate, but i'm not sure what. My knee was hurting a little bit so I am icing it as I am typing this. Was thinking today, I have 3 races left of my high school career. I haven't had a single one that i've been happy with ny results. So i'm going to make these the best I can. I know I am not in preferable shape, but I am confident I can take off at least a minute off my PR.

| First day where i got to do part of the workout with the team!! 2X600m hills @ 2:23,2:28. So okay, I guess. I didn't push too hard which i am a little mad about, but oh well. Next workout I'm doing 3 of the intervals, and will keep going up 1 interval each time. Excited to start doing some real workouts soon! |

| Played some pretty good games of tag. During the third game I feel on my knee while chasing Caleb which felt spectacular, to say the least. So i didn't do the 4th game or golf course and went home and iced my knee just to be cautious. |

| Ok race today. I guess I'm happy with it. The whole course was rolling hills which i really liked. I decided i wanted to go conservative the first mile and then slowly pick it up. I went out too slow, in about a 6:50 lol. I negative split the whole thing so that was sweet. I closed in about 5:50ish which is the first time i have ever gone under 6 in a xc race. So it was good I guess. Still know I can do better though. |

| Good workout of 4x800. Everyone else did 7. I hit 2:50,2:50,2:39,2:46. I'm not sure where that 2:39 came from, the effort felt about the same. I worked on keeping my form correct even when i got tired. Cool down and ice bath. Good times. |

| Surprise track workout today. My first full workout back. 8x400 with 90 seconds rest, then with the last 4 1 minute rest. I hit 75,75,75,76,76,78,78,83. I clearly was out of gas on the last one. 2 mile warmup and cooldown, with ice bath after which felt amazing because it was pretty hot today. Shoutout to zack because its his birthday. |

| Dissapointing race today. It wasn't bad, just dissapointing. My race was at 5, and the last thing i ate was a banana at 2:15, but my stomach was giving me issues the whole race. My goal was top 10 in the JV race, but i didn't come anywhere close. Once the gun went off i settled in around 20th as we went up the asphalt hill. I stayed in this position till probably a half mile in. My stomach started to hurt pretty bad around here. I said screw it in my head and surged up the next hill into about 10th place. Then I threw up on the side of the course for like 5 seconds, but i probably lost close to 15 going through this. After that i said screw my stomach again and ignored the pain and all that crap and moved up into about 15th, about 1.5 miles in. Then I threw up again and probably lost another 15-20 seconds. By then i knew if i pushed it hard anymore i would blow a few more chunks, so i half jogged, half ran the rest of the race. Got passed by tons of people. Sprinted the last 100 and passed a few people. My cooldown was almost as bad as my race. I'm pretty bumped about this race. I wasn't even tired at the finish line. If i was feeling good i could have gone under 19 i think. Oh well, gonna go kill it at region. |

| Ran the ridge trail for a change of scenery. My stomach was hurting but not nearly as much as yesterday. I think after region I'm going to run a few road 5k's, because this season isn't going how I want and I know I can run some much faster times. |

| Low mileage today. My knees were hurting, and it wasn't the pain I've had lately, its runners knee pain. And unfortunately I have lots of experience with that haha. I want to race well at region, but my #1 priority is to stay healthy. I'm sick of being injured. I know that if all these injuries wouldn't have happened I would be on varsity right now. Gonna go easy tomorrow, and if it's still hurting, will take a few days off. But maybe and hopefully this is just one of those weird 1 day injuries. |

| My knee felt fine today, which is good. Workout was 800,600,400x3. I felt pretty junky the entire time. Ryan had me sit out the last 800. My times were 2:43,1:57,76,2:45,1:47,79,1:54,72. I think I've been kinda sick these past few days. During workouts and runs i feel bad, after i feel terrible. Or maybe I'm just not eating right. I do need to eat healthier for sure. Especially for lunch. |
