I felt really good today, except for foot was hurtin pretty good. We went on the BST, wasn't as muddy as I thought it would be. I did 100 pushups, some abs and 5 minutes of planks when I got home. Iced my foot afterwards.

The progression run was supposed to be today, but we canceled it again. I was glad about that, so I could give my foot a day to get better. I got to practice late, and they were in the spinnin room. I did most of the workout by myself, and it was awesome(fun+brutal=awesome). I ran home afterwards with a little detour. I heard the progression run is tomorrow, but I doubt it because time trials are thursday and friday.

ran 6 miles later with my cuz, who is visiting from North Carolina @ 6:22 pace. Felt pretty good

Good modest run, and then to AF and back. My streak of 5 games without getting tagged ended today:( Did strides afterwards and the last one was a race and I won! We have time trials tomorrow, we are doing the 4 and the 8.

Time trials today! We did the 400 and I got 60. I wanted to get under 60, but whatever. After that we jogged around for a mile or so and did 800, 400, 800, 400. I got 2:33, 72, 2:43, 70. So I did decent except for the second 800. We did extended golf course for the cooldown and then ice bathed. 

Ran 4 miles later, @ 6:18 pace.

Yesterday took more out of me than I originally thought. We did strenght training before out run today, so I was tired from that too. I had a pretty rough day of school, so I decided to go on my own run just so I could think without interruption. It was lots of fun. I didn't go fast at all, 7:28 per mile. Running by yourself is the perfect getaway.

6.2 later at night. I usuallly feel good on runs that are dark, and today was no different. Ran to the top of Molly's and back. Averaged a 6:57, which isn't bad for running in the dark.

I ran up to the "G" and back. it was super fun, but tough too. I achieved a goal i've been working towards for a while. 60 miles in 1 week! Haven't done it since early July. I want to get at least 2015 miles this year. Meets start nexy week, and i'm super pumped! Ready for a awesome track season. My brother is opening his mission call tomorrow!

Mountain run extended in the dark. Super cool. Did strength trainin afterwards, and 200 sir ups when I got home. I made almost $1000 today! Dual meet tomorrow, I think I'm gonna do the mile.

We had a dual meet vs Lehi today. Did the mile and 800. I forgot a lunch and only ate a piece of toast for breakfast, so I had no energy. That's all I have to say for the dual meet. We had a tempo afterwards, but everyone left me so I did it with Josh Skousen.

Once I had some food in me, I did some extra becuase I was pretty dissapointed and mad at myself for today's race. Averaged a 6:02.

Long run by myself today, felt really, really good. Ran up past timpanogous cave visitor's center and back. sub-7 pace on way up, and 5:45 pace and under on the way back. good run, was wiped out afterwards. I also biked to PG high and back, talked to the guys on the team for a bit.

We had the track class today, but it's basically a study hall period now, which is super freaking lame. We did 2x 800,600,400 with 90 seconds active recovery. I have a feeling were gonna do this again in a few weeks, but less recovery. I ran some extra when I got home.

Went and did the mountain run. Wasn't feeling good, but still fun. Strides afterwards. I went with the fast guys today, not sure if i'm officially part of that group but i'm certaintly getting there. Was only the 3 freshman, jamison and me. Time for some new shoes.

Sdly, no run today. I still get pretty decent milea in this week though. I worked with this one dude from 7-11:30 then aerated from 12-6. Did a good core workout though, and rolled out my legs and iced my foot which was hurtin some.

Shoutou o zack and Josh cause i saw then running on my  to pizza pie cafe. I didn't reak mt record for most pieces eaten, but I still did decent.

Today we did 3x1000 and 1x800 at mile pace. Noody was able to do it at mile pace. I don't remember my times exactly, but they were around 5:30 pace, so not too good.  Ice bath in the river after the cooldown and we dunked ourselves under afterwards, which felt awesome. Speed is the thing that I need to work on. I'm a decent sprinter, and good on distance runs, but i'm not good at interval workouts. Doing the 2 mile on Friday, should be super fun because it will be dark out when the 2 mile starts.

Strength training was before our run today, good session of it. We went on Bonneville until we were right under molly's and then most of the guys went up the front of if. Jamison, Zack and me just turned back. I had to stop at the bathroom at my house on the way back, then I ran back to the school and caught up to the other guys with about a half mile to go.

We had 8x400 today at a few seconds faster than mile pace! I was supposed to be hitting 73's/ got 73,73,74,73,73,73,74,71. Mountain ridge and timberline had a track meet at LP today so the Lone Peak track runners helped with all the stuff. Was pretty fun.

I had to run by myself today. I wanted to do something fast, so I did 6x2 minute pickups at goal mile(4:45) pace. It was a brutal workout. For the pickup part I ended up averaging a 4:42, so even faster than by goal pace!  Still not to happy about not running today, but on the bright side school is now 3/4 of the way over!

Today at pracice it was only galen, justin, steven and me. We did middle spring in lambert, was pretty fun. On the way down I lost steven right away and kept close to galen and justin until I had to tie my shoe. It took forever to tie it for some reason, and by the time I was done I couldn't see them anymore. Once I was out of lambert I went on this one trail that we have done before ut idk what it's called. Overall it was pretty fun. Everyone did really well at the meet yesterday, and i've got some catching up to do. 3 more guys broke 5 yesterday, and i'm behind in the 2 mile too. This next week at the Westlake dual i'm doing the mile and the 2. I need to break 5 and 11 then.

6 miles later with my uncle. I felt good, averaged a 6:27. Getting super excited to race again.

spent a good portion of my morning puking. So yeah, I didn't run today. I lost 7.5 pounds today! All fluids. Just FYI, thought you guys would want to know, haha.

Just a modest run. I feel much better than yesterday, but definetily not 100%. I was super dehydrated today, even though I drank a ton. My parents aren't letting me race until after spring break because there super lame. It does set me up for some pretty big PR's though. I want to run sub 4:50 and sub 10:30 my first races back. Gonna train super hard these weeks I can't race. Not in terms of mileage, but in effort. I can go harder some on the distance runs, but where I can do a lot better are the interval workouts on the track. I'm not happy about not getting to race for a while, but I am going to play it to my advantage all that I can.

8x400 today. I hit 71,71,72,72,75,76,76,78. I obviously died on the second half. I'm still a little sick, and I almost threw up on the last few. We went over to the river to icebath afterwards, but I felt terrible so I just laid on the grass and took a short nap. I got new shoes once I got home! There are extra spots for the 3200 on saturday at UVU but I can't go. If I had a decent race I know I would PR by ton. I think I'm pretty close to my goal of 10:30. I haven't raced the 3200 yet this year, but I feel like i'm in shape for it. Once I get back to racing though, I will be overdue for some big PR's.

We decided to drive up to Legacy for our run today, for a change. We did a loop that went up through Lambert. The last few miles were sub 6 pace, I think. It still felt pretty controlled though. My feet hurt a little bit today, because my shoes haven't been broken in yet. And the shoe manager isn't working for some reason.

Long run today. I ran up to Lambert from my house and went on some different trails for 4-5 miles and then ran home. Super fun time but i'm exhausted because i've been working outside all day. Really wish I could have ran at the invite, would have gotten a big PR.

Ran up in Alpine today with only 4 others from the team. I fell behind a bit, so I took a wrong turn and did some extra mileage. They were going low 6's most of the time though, so I think I was hitting 6:40-6:50 on most of them.
