| Progression run today. Did 32 laps on the track. Splits were supposed to be 7:30,7, 6:30,6,5:40,5:30,5:20,5:10. Felt felt like I was dragging today. Kept up fine till the last lap of the 6 flat. Then coach had me run at 6 minute pace for as long as I could. Hit 2.5 miles then like 6:30 pace for the rest of the miles. Didn't do how I hoped, but it's getting me motivated for the all out 400 on Thursday. |

| 3 during lunch then 5 in lambert during class. Didn't feel too swell but I don't think anyone did. It was just me the fast sophomores Trevor and Jonas so that was weird for a bit. |

| Af and back then a bit up toeards the canyon then a mile barefoot. Felt decent, but I wasn't exhausted like I have been lately. Decided that I will run the 400 at the lehi dual meet cuz hearing my teammates times is getting me really curious to see what I can get. |

| Ugh worst run in a while for me. I've been sick lately but it hasn't affected me much. And I just had no enery again. Maybe it's because I'm working a lot, maybe it's something else. I don't sleep very well(I wake up 10-15 times every night) maybe its that. But whatever it is, I need to fix it. My dad's having me take these vitamin pills of different sorts so hopefully it will help. |

| First workout of the year. It definitely felt like it. 800,600,400x2. Times were 2:42,2:04, 75, 2:47, 2:06, 75. Man I was dragging today. But I think most of the team was. Cooldown then an ice bath. |

| Alpine today. The first few miles were a little rough, but once I got warmed up I was fine. I had the pace-setting duties on alpine highway so that was fun. |

| 2 mile warmup the 5x800. I decided to do the first 1 conservatively because I nusually fall apart towards the end. I hit a 2:58 lol so it was too slow. The rest were inbetween 2:45 and 2:50. Coach pulled me out after the fifth. Cut the cooldown a bit short because my left quad was hurting. Got home and stretched for a while,did my core, and used my marshmallow stick for a bit. |

| Pretty good workout today. 2 mile warmup then 1200,800,800,400,400,400. Not sure on exact times, but they were around 4:07,2:45,2:43,75,75 and either a 66 or 67 on the last 1. Felt pretty good, I probably could have gone harder. It was good to actually feel decent after a workout because I usually feel like junk. Long cooldown. |

| Duel meet today! Did the mile and 800. Warmed up 2 miles before the mile. The mile was a dud in a way. I just couldn't get my legs to go very fast. I usually have a good kick but I didn't even have a kick. They said 5:20 when I crossed but on the results it said 5:11. So I'm going with that 1 haha. Did a mile easy before the 800. I ran the 800 half hearted. Just chilled the first lap and then kicked it in. 2 mile cooldown with thr guys and a few lehi dudes. I'm kinda dissapointed with my races. I know I'm in better shape. Excited for my next race. |

| 6 miles easy at night. These solo night runs are really good stress relievers for me. Today was a pretty rough day so I decided to run tonight instead of at practice. It was one of those runs that goes by really quickly because you are in such deep thought. Doing the mile tomorrow at the Westlake dual meet. |

| Westlake dual today. Long warm up of 3 miles. It was decently windy. My first lap was a 77, I thought it would be like a 73. With 800 to go I just told myself ro cruise to the finish and go for the PR on friday. Cooldown included basketball and climbing a pyramid. Goofed off on the high jump till the meet was almost done. It was fun. My mission papers are submitted now! |

| Good race today! Drove down later and almost got scratched. Barely checked in on time. 2 mile warmup and a few strides. I was in the 2nd heat. I had to start in lane 8 so that stunk. Everyone went out pretty slow though, so I got in a good position on the curve. I just chilled the first lap, came through in an 81. Then I just gradually moved up, till I was in 3rd at the mile, in 5:38. Steven was in 1st by like 80 meters and a Salem Hills kid about 40m up. The wind kept changing directions, so a few laps I was going into the wind on both straits. On lap 6 I seriously thought I was going to puke. I caught the salem hills guy with 900 left. After than I let him get about 15m on me till about 150 left to go. I told myself its now or never so I opened up my stride and once it was like 120 left I just took off after him. I ended up getting him by .2 seconds. 2 mile cooldown with zack seth and steven. Overall I'm happy with the race. It's kinda hard not to with a 14 second PR. Really fun race today. I still know I race run lot's faster. My biggest confidence booster is that I negative split it, by 8 seconds. And shoutout to Zack for qualifying for state! |

| On Monday I was playing basketball and got kneed super hard in the groin. It's been hurting too much to run until today. Biked 15 each Monday and Tuesday. Started practice off with some basketball that actually got pretty competitive. Pole than 2 games of tag and back to the school. 100 pushups and 5 minutes of planks for core today. Haven't done much lately so I need to start that back up. |

| Workout today was 600,400,200. Played basketball before so I was tired from that. Only heard my splits from the last 2, 73 and 31. Not the greatest workout. Not racing at UVU which I'm bummed about. But only varsity and steven are racing. Which got me thinking. Besides the guys racing on Saturday, only Kaleb I think gets a spot before me. I'm pretty sure I can catch him, and pass him too, so I get to run at more invites. In the mile for instance, if I can keep him within 15 meters till the last 200 I know I can get him. Not in a cocky way, but confidence haha. This is actually a good thing not racing I think because I'm getting way motivated now. |
