| Super awesome run this morning. I woke up at 5:45 and couldn't go back to sleep, so I went on my run at 6:15 haha. Drove to mouth of provo canyon and went up 5.5 miles then turned back. On the way up I just chilled, hitting around 7:15's. On the way down I was still feeling super good so I did a bit of a progression run. Splits on the way down were 6:55,6:21,6:14,5:58,5:47 and 5:08 pace the last .5. Really happy with this run and it's giving me confidence for my next few races. Shoutout to Tyler for the 10 second PR and for breaking 5! |

| Good workout today. 600,400x4. 90 seconds active rest. I'm in California so I just looked up the nearest high schools. There was 1 .5 miles from my hotel, but Dana Hills(3rd at NXN) was 2.5 miles so I went there instead haha. Felt really good, and smooth. Times were 1:48,72,1:48,72,1:47,71,1:45,67. Sea level is awesome to run at haha. Not quite acclimated yet, but I should be soon:) Long cooldown. |

| 7 miles on a paved trail than 2 barefoot on the beach. Running on the beach is a good time, but I don't think it's as great as everyone says it is. |

| Another really good workout. 2 mile warmup through the campus of UC San Diego, then I somehow convinced a guy to let me do my workout on the university track! It's a sweet track, just as nice as BYU's. 12x400 was the workout. 90 seconds active rest. Times were 75,73,73,73,73,72,73,71,71,70,70,68. Felt really good! All my runs this week have been at like 6 in the morning, because I wake up early and can't go back to sleep. On my cooldown I found some sweet trails that I will check out more on my distance run tomorrow. |

| At 5:10 in the morning haha. The weather I ran in was my favorite- pretty dark out, but still enough to run in, high 60's and sprinkling. 8 miles of trails and rolling hills. It was great. Last 2 miles were slightly downhill, and I still felt good, so I picked it up and hit 5:45 and 5:38. Driving home today and I'm opening my call tomorrow! |

| A little over 6 on Bonneville. It was hot. Helped at the jr. high meet then warmup for the crabwalk. Gun started and I immediately went to the back. Still finished through pain and suffering. Shoutout to craik for smashing the school record. Sp blessed to be able to participate in the fastest-ever heat of crab running in Utah. I'm a little discouraged with my performance but I know if I stick to my training I will peak by worlds in June. I think the other competitors are peaking too early. Already tweeted about it and a instagram post might be on the way so stay tuned. |
