| Good run up the canyon. On the way down trevor and I found a trail so we scouted it out. It's a solid trail, but we won't be doing it again till the snow is melted. With about a mile left in the canyon the wind decided to make it's presence known so we froze and then had to take a little break in the sun to warm up. Don't have work till 5 tomorrow zo I can go to practice and strength training so that's good. |

| Alpine loop with a stop at arctic circle with craik and justin for courtesy cones. Good run. Lately after good run's I haven't been as tired, even though I'm pushing myself harder than before. Think it's cuz I'm getting in better shape. At least I hope lol. |

| Shorter Discovery loop today. The guys started pushing the pace after like a half mile, so we could be back in time for strength training. Didn't feel too swell so I didn't even try to keep up with the top guys, who ended up averaging a 6:12 lol. I still probably averaged in the 6:50's, so a good run for not feeling good. Strength training was a good time. Might do a bike workout later tonight. Excited cuz we have our first tempo on Wednesday and Distance challenge is on friday! | First workout of the year!!!!! We did 4x2 minute tempos on the canal. I did decent, my goal was to keep up with trevor. I fell back a bit on the first but after that I did good. Getting really excited to race on friday!! Definitely going to break 5 there. |

| I had to run earlier than the rest of the because of a doctor's appointment so today was by myself. Did trampoline run than ran through some neighborhoods on the way back to the school. Did 6 strides and they felt pretty good! Excited to see what I can get in the mile tomorrow. |

| Tempo today, 4x2 minute pickups so nothing too hard, at least usually. Today my goal was to keep up with trevor on all of them. As soon as the first 1 started I just couldn't get my legs moving fast at all. Was just super tired. I was pushing it hard, but I still wasn't going fast. I think it's because I'm working too much. I'm quitting in 2 weeks though! |

| In the Denver area the next few days. Ran by Arapahoe high school, the team that I got a shirt from at Nike southwest. Did a lap on their track then ran around in some neighborhoods till I found a sweet trail. It's like the canal before it was paved, except there were trees all around it. Did 2 miles out on that and then headed back. Picked up the pace the last few miles, hit like 6:15 on both. Average pace 6:59. |

| Hill workout today. Lately I've just had no energy, especially on workouts. I know it's because I'm working a lot(about 20 hours a week). It's just hard because I know quitting will help me,(which I am), but I already have another job set up. I want to be fast but I need the money for my mission and college too. |

| Good run today. We made a new run called the couch run. We went up towards spring to the bathrooms but then we went on a trail up the side of the mountain. I fell behind on this part. Once we got to the top we headed down by the bike jump and ended up at sliding rock. Then we headed back and did dumpster to get to 10. I'm hoping we can find somewhere to add in a mile so we don't have to do dumpster every timr we do couch run. Breakfast at the Erekson's house. Good way to start the day. |
