Down in Vegas to get out of the crap and I had use or lose at work.  Nice to get out of the crappy air.

Nice run on the Strip in Vegas.  Lots of stairs though.

Last day down here, ready to go home but I'm not ready for the crappy Utah January air.

Back into the crappy air and 17 degrees.  Blah.  Other than that good time on the parkway with Brandon, Scott, Tim, Brett, Becky, and Tyson.  Better time at breakfast after.

Yesterday was my last day of antibiotics hopefully this crap that I've had for a month now is done and I can get some consistency back.

Nice run at lunch today.  It looked really icy out this morning so I waited.  It was really nice to be out in the sun this afternoon.

Perfect lunch run on the parkway in Riverdale from Pig Farm south.  What a great afternoon, the sun felt awesome.

For some reason the air cleared this morning. 5 miles on the parkway with a good group, Tim, Brett, and Scott this morning.

Nice run on a cold day at lunch.  I thought it would be a little warmer today.

Super warm morning at 41 today.  I'll take that any January morning even with the wind.  Nice to get back out, I think I'm probably feeling about 80% so there's a light at the end of this being sick tunnel.

Light snow shower and wet roads with patchy icy spots today.  Planned an easy 3 but I couldn't run up the sidewalk on 5600S in Roy because it was all icy.  I'd never run on the road up 5600 S in Roy with no shoulder and it's always crazy busy.  So ran up to 5200 and then up to the rail trail and back home which added an extra mile.

Super slippery this morning on the parkway. The icy spots were covered with the light snow so it was really hard to see until it was too late. I think we all slipped and fell today. Still fun to get out with the gang.

Nice run this morning with Janell and Bailey.  No ice today thankfully.

Nice day for a lunch run.  Temp was about 30 but the sun was out and the air was clear, felt good today.

Nice lunch run on the Parkway in Riverdale south from Pig Farm.  Trail was icy in spots but not as bad as I thought it would be.  Wore my trail shoes because I thought it would be more snow packed.

Icy this morning after the skiff of snow last night melted on the roads.  Nice and easy trying not to fall.

Dragging a little today but I got it done.  Feel better at least mentally now.

Saturday on the Ogden Parkway with Brandon, Tim, and Brett.  Man was it cold this morning.  The wind was blowing out of the canyon, I'm sure the wind chill was in single digits.  I thought my ear was going to freeze off coming back over the 21st St. Viaduct into the wind.

Lunch on the parkway again.  Nice a clear after the snow last night, Riverdale does a great job keeping that plowed.  The run felt hard today, not sure why.

A little warmer on the parkway at lunch today.  Good thing, the weather is not looking too great for the rest of the week.  Nice run today, I felt much better than yesterday.  Got my 1000 move goal badge on my Apple watch today.

Nice morning compared to what the temps have been lately.  32 degrees felt kinda warm, weird.  Ran in the morning today because it's supposed to storm.

Had a meeting this morning at work so a little shorter run today.  Nice morning at 40 and no rain/snow.  Gotta take it while I can get it this week with all the storms coming through daily.

When my alarm went off this moring, my first thought was...oh hell no, I'm too tired and I'm sleeping in.  Cut to a half an hour later I'm walking out the door.  It's always nice to have a great run when you didn't think you could or would run at all.

Finally got out the door at around 9 this morning. I’m really done with the cold. Good run once I got going.

Cold, what else is new, lunch run today.  And for the wildcard....I got snowed on for about 3 miles.  This winter keeps getting better and better....blah!

Snow day yesterday, stupid snow.  Cold this morning, it got windy for the last 1.5 when I got back into Clinton.  

Another cold morning.  Wind was NNW when I left, by the time I hit 2.5 miles and ready to get it at my back it switched.

Nice warm day on the parkway at lunch today.  The temp was double+ what I ran in last week.  Last week 22 at lunch, today 50.  

Really a nice morning today at 44, with a little wind.  I decided to try a new route today, that's why it ended up 6 when I was planning 5.  Ran south on 1500 to 300 N, east past 1000 to the Rail Trail, then north home.  Good route and a nice change of pace.

Awesome afternoon on the Parkway at lunch.  Really nice day for a run.  Took yesterday off to rest my hamstring, started feeling a little twinge on Wednesday.  No problems today so it was the right decision but it's always a tougher decision at the time.  I always feel a little lazy and not sure whether I need a day off or not.

Nice run on the Parkway today.  I went north from Pig Farm today instead of south.  Only 1 flooded underpass and 1 dead racoon so not too bad today.

Woke up tired and my legs felt a little sore.  Needed to run this morning instead of at lunch due to a long meeting today.  Ended up having a good run, legs felt good.  Bonus.

Nice run on a great morning.  South route down 1500W to 300N up to rail trail and home.

Pretty good run for about 3 miles, light rain and some wind but not too bad.  Starting from there it really started raining pretty good.  It was cold rain, felt like running in the Ogden marathon.  I ended up soaked and cold.

First run since Tuesday. I rolled my ankle on Monday but it didn’t really bother me. Then in the last 2 miles on Tuesday it started feeling stiff. No go because of a sore ankle area on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Good choice to rest it.

Finally got out for a morning run, good to get out early.  

Donated blood yesterday so today was low energy.  Couldn't really push anything so I went easy today.  Aside from that what a great morning to be out, well worth it.

Felt a little better today but still some fatigue.  Really kinda windy coming west on 4800 S in Roy today but otherwise the wind wasn't bad.

AM 1 - Easy does it 3.1 with Bailey from home.

AM 2 - Little Valley 5K in Brigham City.  It's a fundraiser 5K for a good cause.  Good time.

Nice day out on the Parkway at lunch north from Pig Farm to the confluence of the Weber and Ogden rivers and back.  Tough day, didn't feel really well today made it tough.

Nice run south through Clinton and into Clearfield and then back on the rail trail.  I took it a little easier today.

Day 4 - Final day arrived at Macchu Pichu. It's more amazing than any picture.  The whole trek was absolutely amazing and very challenging.

Long run today because I can't do it tomorrow early enough.  Really nice morning to be out except for the pollen.  Whatever is pollenating right now is killing me allergy wise.

Nice run this morning.  The storm was rolling in, I could see the dark clouds coming in from the west.  I beat it by about 15 minutes, perfect.

Final long run before the half next Saturday. Windy at Botanical this morning. Good run though, I felt alright today.

Alrighty then....Ogden Half Marathon Saturday in the rain here I come.  

Ogden half today on a rainy day which isn’t that unusual. Great day today I ha d a good time. Best part is training with friends and breakfast after on Saturday mornings.

Nice run on a cool parkway from Botanical Garden to Rainbow and back 2 times.  Met friends at 7:30 for an easy 3.  Got there early to get 3.6 in before.  It felt so nice out there today.  1 homeless guy doing a rain dance by himself for entertainment today.

5 miles on a treadmill.  On an Alaskan cruise so I ran on the treadmill.  The sea was pretty rough so the boat was rocking up and down and side to side.  Made for an interesting run trying to hold on at times.

Knowing tomorrow is a snow day and the start of January because the next two days are supposed to be record cold I got a nice after work run 🏃 in.  It took all day at work to talk myself into this one, glad I went.

Cold out at 18 but little to no wind so it wasn't pleasant but not as bad as I thought.  Ran north on the Rail trail into Roy to 4800 and back.

No energy today so it was an easy day today.  But I got out so that's still a win.
