I just lost my whole damn entry so here it is again. I ran out on the trail here in Arizona, feltkay but my legs the first mile were pretty tired, it must have been from the laps that I did in the pool yesterday. But after a mile or so I was able to get them moving better, my average pace was 8:35 with a total time of 43:28. It was a beautiful morning here in Queen Creek Arizona and I'm really glad I was able to get out.

I ran out Past Gu Corner and then down into the river bottoms and then back to the house the same way all via canal road. I felt okay going out but then on the way home with about a mile or so left I started to really get tired and the last mile was a death march. I think that had to do with the inactivity this last week and I hardly ate at all on the way home from Arizona yesterday and then you add in sitting in the darn car for 12 hours, just doesn't make for a really good feeling in the legs. My average pace was 8:48 with a total time of 1:28:57, it was not a great week of training mainly because of my laziness and I need to get going starting Monday and start getting ready for ST George.

I ran the Payson Park Loop this morning but cut out the rollers. I had stomach issues before I left and then the last mile I had then as well and I just barley made it, other than that I felt pretty good. I get to start running my wife's Girls tomorrow so its time to get after it, my average pace was 8:39 with a total time of 53:36, it was a good start to the day.

I ran down to run my wifes girls and then I ran back up a 100 East to canal road then out past the stake center and then back to the house. I did not feel real great today, legs were very un-responsive and I just kind of got through it all. My average pace was 8:48 with a total time of 49:25.

Payson Park Loop this morning and I extended all the way to the Park, I didn't feel good at all today and the last couple miles were a death march again... I was able to get it done though and it was still good to be out even if it was a tired run, my average pace was 9:00 mile with a total time of 1:04:30. I had a negative split on the way back so I must have picked it up a little bit on the way back.

I ran down to the High School and ran the girls first thing and then I headed back up to canal road and ran out to the Stake Center, I felt okay at times and then not so good at times but I did run a MP mile at 7:54. My average pace was 8:45 with a total time of 55:01, the girls did really well this morning and they are going to be a great group this year.

I ran the old blue mailbox route this morning but I didn't extend out past the stake center as Fridays are a lighter day for me. I should have only ran 3 but I was feeling okay so I went a little further, my average pace was 8:33 with a total time of 40:19. I wish all those running Utah Valley Marathon a good race and good speed, good luck to all.

I ran out past gu Corner and then down into the riverbottoms, camr back the same way to the house and then I did some 2 mile loops claoe to there where I had water and gatorade, I felt stronger the second half of the run which was a pleasent surprise. My last mile was at MP at 7:57, my average pace for the run was 8:38 with a total time of 2:10:23. It was a confidence builder run know doubt, and I am really proud of myself for not giving into my tired legs the first half. I was able to run the tired feeling out of them and then hammer the last half of the run with confidence.

I ran the Payson park loop this morning but I didn't extend down into the park I stayed on top. My legs were super tired at the first but felt a little better towards the end, my average pace was 9:06 with a total time of 56:32. It took my legs about 3 miles to loosen up to where they felt decent, not great but tolerable. I'm going to try and do Payson canyon tomorrow before I run the girls, but that will depend on how the old legs are feeling... I think I will only go from about Maple Dell and then down to the school, I'm not ready to go all the way to the top yet.

I ran down to the high school and ran the girls, they are up to 1.30 miles they are really coming along nicely, and then I ran home via Elk Ridge drive which is a pretty good little up hill and then home on canal road. Legs seemed to loosen up as I went and I felt pretty good towards the end, my average pace was 8:35 with a total time of 54:13.  It was a good start to the day.

Drove up to My brother-in-laws at the top of woodland hills and then ran down to the mailboxes and then over to Mt Loafer road, down past the elementary school to canal road and then added on a couple more out to the Stake Center and then back to the house. There is some serious downhill in this run and it was hard on the old quads, but I need to start doing this to prepare for Payson canyon next month when I start running that. My average pace was 8:33 with a total time of 1:01:48. I really held back on the downhill and I hope as I get stronger I will be able to go faster, I did have an 8 minute mile on one of them so that is a MP mile. It was a good run,

I ran down to the High school and ran the Girls and then I ran a lap around the track and then back up 300 west to canal road and then out past the Stake Center and then home. My legs were pretty tired from yesterdays run but they were tolerable and I feel like they did better than expected. I kept the pace easy at a 9:02 average and then a total time of 56:32, its been another good week of training and I like the road that I am on.

I was up a little earlier this week to try and beat the heat but I should have started even earlier but it was still tolerable, I ran the same route as last week but I didn't feel as strong at the end... My average pace was 8:40 with a total time of 2:10:53, I think my legs were tired from the down hill workout mid week because I had nothing towards the end this week. But it was still a good workout and a good week of training.

I ran down to the high school and ran the girls, I did a lap around the track while I was waiting for them all to get there, after running them I ran home the same way, up 300 west to canal and then out past the stake center and then back to the house. I felt really good today and I'm glad that I listened to my body yesterday, I just didn't feel real great from Saturdays long run so I took the day off and it really helped. My average pace was 8:21 with a total time of 1:01:33, I had one MP mile and it was 7:39, felt really good on that one.

Woodland Hills downhill run this morning, the same route as last week but I went a little faster my legs felt way stronger today than last week so that is a good sign. I had 4 MP miles in the downhill sections and they were, 7:58, 7:53, 7:41, 7:54, my average pace for the run was 8:09 with a total time of 1:00:02. It was another good run and I like the road that I'm on, I hope I can keep it up and stay injury free this year.

I ran down to the school and ran the Girls again and then ran the same route as Tuesday, the girls are really doing well and I am really proud of them. I felt okay except on the way back up 300 West I seemed really tired so I keep it easy on the up hill, my average pace was 8:34 with a total time of 1:02:24.  Another good run in the bag and I feel like I am on the right course, easy day tomorrow.

I slept right through my alarm and then I decided to run anyway but I only had time for about half my volume so I went out and got here done, my pace was pretty upbeat through the whole run and I felt strong, average pace was 8:20 with a total time of 59.00 even. It was getting way hot by the time I was done but I'm sure glad I got up and actually did something, it just does a body good.

I ran the Payson Park Loop this morning but I stopped short and I didn't extend down into the park all via canal road. I felt pretty good just a real nice steady run. After getting back to the house Sophie wanted to go a a mile so we ran out to the stake center and back, just nice and easy and we ended up going about 1.20 miles. It was a good start to the week, my average pace was 8:28 with a total time of 1:02:36. I might run Payson Canyon with the group tomorrow, but I'm not sure what time they are meeting I guess I'll show up at 5am and then see what happens.

I ran the Mini Gu Corner route today via canal road, I got out a little later in the morning and it was not a good decision I need to get up at the regular time cuz its just to hot for this old body. My average pace was 8:35 with a total time of 52:03, I ran into Pat Loss and he was out riding a bike it was good to see him.
