Woke at 6:20 dressed warm complete with a beanie. Got my garmin on and stepped out the door at 6:40. Ran 6 miles total. 1.50 miles were a few speed laps around the H.S. track. I love love love running outside. I can't figure out the mind games I go through during the week ,when trying to find courage to get outdoors. It seems more dark and cold during the week. I would be running earlier (6-7 am). The 'colder' part is in my head, but it IS darker. I need to be a big girl and just try it out this week. Time flies outside and I get great time to think.

| | Weights working chest. Then 20 min elliptical and ran 6 miles. Going to a funeral right now. Hubby's cousin took his life last week. Sadness. This is the worst part of life. | Comments(4) |
| | Weights -lats. 21 min elliptical. Left home and ran 7 miles outside. Awesome. A little windy tho. It took my breath away a few times. Also, my eyes watered pretty hard core. My fingers were the only thing that got cold. Any suggestions anyone? | Comments(8) |
| | Ran 7.75 and it was a little warmer than yesterdee dee dee | Comments(9) |
| | Ran 7 miles with some upping the speed and downing the speed. Then weights working biceps and triceps. | Comments(4) |
| | Ran 8 miles. I had right foot trouble as I stepped out of bed. Not plantar, its more on the top left of my foot. It happens on and off. I start running and it goes away. I should start wearing shoes during the day while at home walking around on the cold hard tile. Then I worked my legs in the weights, followed by some burpees. Boooo! Burpee's are horrible! | Comments(9) |

| | Crossfit! Then ran 7.5, fast intervals of speed from minutes 30-54.
The crossfitters jabbed friendly sarcasm at me for running so long after crossfitting. I like to do hard things! I worked my lats a bit after that.

| | 7 miles with some speed ups and downs and repeating that several times. Weights lats. Is it summer yet? Can the temps just start slowly climbing at least? how about 38-40 degrees for a night time low so I can run outside and not feel so cold. Or the sun coming up like an hour earlier? I am stuck in a rut. I am ready for this weather to change and go away. I'm not complaining if Summer came early this year for a change. Please Motha Nature?!?!?!

| | It's the week of 7 milers. :) Anybody remember back in the day when I'd do a week of 10's? Why don't I do that anymore? That's it, next week I'm gonna! I'm not afraid! 20 min elliptical.
Weights last - worked shoulders.

| | 27 minutes of elliptical and ran 6 miles. Worked legs in the weights. Okay so next week I'm going to transition outside. If it snows and is icy I will skip those days. Other than that that's what I'm gonna do. I hope | Comments(2) |

7 miles is back! 30 min elliptical hellishness. oh boy. I'm sick and I think I'm getting laryngitis AGAIN. I had it for 15 days in October. Everybody in my house started calling me pterodactyl. I am annoying. I feel like crud. Yesterday afternoon I took my kids to the track and after running a 6:15 min mile around the track my lungs burned like a fireball. Later I came home and collapsed in my bed for the rest of the day. My kids were running around taking advantage....

| | Elliptical high intensity intervals for 20 minutes. Then I decided to strength train my shoulders before running which = A BAD IDEA. I had no energy to run afterwards. Oh man. Somehow I barely squeeked out 5.5 miles. Worked core afterwards. Also did some hip flexor plyo's a guy at the gym taught me. He is a former NFL football player for the Chicago Bears. He has shown me a ton of great plyo's for running. My hero!
