Good pace. Calves are sore which scared me. Then I remembered I did calf raises yesterday while weight training. It's all good. Notice the every other day running pattern. I am not about to dive in and get hurt. | Comments(7) |
| | Ran 6 miles. Because 6 has become my new 7. :-) | Comments(3) |

5 miles on the trail at 8 am. My husband rode his bike next to me. It was good to have him with me, because it pushed my pace. splits: 8:16 7:42 7:20 7:17 7:40

| | Ran 6, in the dark on the trail. Passed a few runners, and a couple walkers. They look at me funny because I have a head lamp on. I don't get it, why wouldn't you want to to run in pitch black with a headlamp. Makes a huge difference in confidence. I am running %100 pain free! Avg pace 7:55

9 miles! In the beautiful 5:30 am moonlight. Headwind anytime I turned East towards Spanish Fork Canyon. Got to my usual 6 miles (as of late) and felt good enough so I kept going. Just after my watched clicked over to 8 miles, my legs started to show signs that they weren't used to going this far anymore. But I kept at it until 9 clicked over. Feeling good that I can still run a semi longer distance. Paces weren't stellar or anything. But right now, that doesn't really matter a lot to me. I passed by an older man twice, who was CRUISING. I've seen him the other mornings this week as well. Next time I am going to be daring and ask him if I can run with him this spring. I am going to need a training partner to push me. He seems nice enough, I am not afraid to ask. btw- in case you didn't know, Merri and Sue are both preggers.
