| | 6 on the dreadmill. I don't know what happened. I woke up from my sugar coma with a Halloween hangover. I could not wake up. I found myself at the gym on a dreadmill instead of running outside! lol 30 minutes on the elliptical after just for good measure. I was sweaty. But so was Rachelle. Chicks can be sweaty, it's all good. | Comments(4) |

Ran 2. today. Not much, but this was all speed on/offs. They feel way easier now than they did 5-6 weeks ago. Fitness is gaining. Oxygen is taken in easier. Turnovers are smoother. I feel strong. Thought I would share how I am feeling since having my hormones tested. I went on armour thyroid In August, testosterone, progesterone, DHEA and Vitamin D3. I cannot begin to try to explain in words how much better I feel now. I later found out that my adrenals were fatigued as well from taking smaller doses of caffeine everyday before workouts. Not a good idea, so if you do this, think about the damage you could be causing your adrenal glands. The lack of running, and more resting that I did this summer helped heal my adrenals.Anyway, I don't feel tired all day anymore. I feel strong when I run. Something that was missing this last spring.I knoew something was up! But I feel like I will only progress from here on out. I have only run 2 marathons, barely dabbling in this distance. I'm a marathon rookie and have only begin to scratch the surface of what I know my body is capable of doing. I need to dig deep and find the next gears. It takes courage because those gears are going to be a lot of work.. I'm running 8-9 miles tomorrow outside. If anyone wants to join I am up for it.

| | Waited until about 10:45 this morning before I got out to run. It was beautiful as usual.
Ran 7. The goal I had was to keep all miles under 7:40 and I did. Most splits were 7:32 or 7:23. Kind of weird.

| | My hip/glute/hamstring hurt all day yesterday. So I played it safe and worked on the elliptical for 1:40. I know. crazy. I wanted to die! | Comments(7) |

More elliptical hell this morning for 1 hr 25 minutes. Never fear, I am head out for a 3-4 mile run now. Yes I will vote afterwards. Ran 3 miles at 9:30 am. I am crazy. Just crazy doing this much cardio. But I have had a rough last few days, it is the way I deal with things. And thus the cardio streak will continue on. My 3 miles were fast. My hip feels better so it will be back to a good 7 miler tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it. | Comments(7) |
| | 5 miles on the river trail. Slept in today, which I never do, and got out at 8:40. Leaves fallen everywhere. No Elliptical today, uh-mazing | Comments(1) |

7 in the early morning. Progression run holding the last mile at a 6:35 pace. That last mile felt kind of hard, but I wasn't going to give in and slow it. This is good for me right?! 40 minutes of helliptical fantasy. Rachelle joined Kira and I. Sweaty messes we were.

| | I had no drive today. I don'y feel very well. I sorta lifted some weights, then I ellitpical helled my life away for 90 minutes. | Comments(1) |
| | Ran 12 on the dreadmill. My friend Julie text me late last night and said she was going to run 12, so I said I would do it too. I figured I might as well since I havent done a double digit in months. I had plenty of energy. I felt like I could have kept going and going. Im pretty positive I could easily run a sub 1:30 half marathon right. | Comments(2) |
| | 8 miles, the first 3.5 at a moderate pace. Then speed pick ups for 20-23 minutes. 7:25 pace held for the last 1.5 miles. Ended feeling really worked. 40 minutes on an elliptical after. Then some weights. Feel good today.

Ran 7 on the mill of dread. I don't love the dreadmill, but I am sure thankful for it on cold dark mornings. I can sorta manage running out when it's colder than cold. But when it is dark and cold, and I am alone, I'm over it! 38 minutes of elliptical hell after. Some strength training after. Not much tho. I'm skinny fat.

| | 1 hr 10 min on the elliptical. I worked hard on that thing. Then ran 3 miles, 7 min pace . Kind of a short tempo. I know I keep saying this, but I just feel a lot more strong now. I am thinking about running the St. George half in January. Has anybody run this and give me a heads up of the course? Anyone...? | Comments(9) |

7 mile run on the trails in the clouds :), no really. The cloudsl/fog were in the hills. It made for an interesting run not being able to see in front of you. During certain parts there would be falling dew drops that sparkled when it hit a ray of sunlight. So pretty. No wonder I looked soaked when I was done. Horse crap everywhere, but it makes the trails super soft. ha ha Around mile 6 I was running along and a branch from lemon tree reached out and swiped wet morning dew over the top of my head :)

| | After traveling home from California yesterday, and sitting in the car forever, this morning I woke up ready to go! Ran 4 miles on the trail in 28 minutes. Was quite glad to see my pace is dropping. Those San Juan hills must have done a little bit o something... I think I will keep this as a fun thing to focus on this next 4-5 weeks until I start Boston training. I will see if I can chip away at time for a 4 mile run. This morning's weather was perfect. I know we need snow, but I won't cry if it ends up like last year :-) | Comments(4) |
| | 8 miles in 59 minutes flat. then 15 minutes elliptical and weights. | Comments(2) |
