| arrived with amber with 6 minutes to spare. ran nice and easy to try out pelvis again. 9:15, 7:55, 7:43 then 25:12 for miles 4, 5, 6 combined. 1:40 (8:20 pace for that lovely uphill 0.2 miles). 50:47. Amber passed me just before mile one when I was just feet ahead keeping her afloat. She stayed ahead til 3.5 miles when we ran together the remaining. She finished ahead by two seconds. NO pushing it. But would have placed 3rd if signed up. Amber fifth if she had. However if racing probably could have done 50 min with the bum pelvis.

| 2 mile out and back at follow the flag 5 k trail warm up. Then did the race. Got behind at start then should have gone easier. Because I was 9:30 at mile maybe a little faster. Had stop watch. Then ran up hill mostly walked it for 1.1 miles. Then down to finish behind a cautious girl on no passing. So lost Brooke the runner I met at start. Came in at 35:30. Want to run this a few times a week to get good at it. Legs sore from squats Wednesday. And squats with weights. Way too many.

| 3.5 warm up by Kim. Then 28.5 min tempo. Half of what they did (57 min) 7.5-7.8 mph. So 3.61 miles in that time. Then walked 0.2 miles at 4 percent incline to cool down. 7:53 avg for tempo. Back and right hip started to ache a mile to finish.

| Estimate. Timp caves to fork via campground. But past the exit on trail for 0.1 or more. Then to fork. Then up from fork for 6 min. Then back to fork. Then again with Kim and Jane as they were on their last hill repeat. I had a major problem with my leg. Right groin and right hip /back lower. Unable to run after 0.1 miles and walked a mile. Finally couod run. Gingerly worried about same pain enveloping. Ran past fork again to same point then back to car at caves via campground. 61.5 min running time. 1:24 with the walking.

| Dirt road from Hades campground to iron mine Looped in that campground x2. Leg problem again. So had to walk twice for a minute. Gingerly ran back. This happened at 1.5 miles from other camp.

Covid vaccine not a problem. But as I write this getting the headache like last time at day three. Amber had one during race. Ran 52:29.

| Hike kanarra Falls. I drove to cedar with my three girls. 5 mile hike. Ate at snackery. Drove home in torrential storm in cedar. Flood in cedar and hour after I drove through.
