I deliberately kept it slower for the first 6 miles and I was right at the time I planned through 10. the intent was to run 8:30 pace for the alst 2 miles. it was too hot and wasn't happening. splits 9:34, 9:12, 9:11, 9:09, 9:00, 8:58, 8:45, 8:46, 8:47, 8:45, 9:17, 9:02. I still ran a negative splits with the first 6 miles in 55:05 and they second 6 miles in 53:20

| total time 90:49. temp 81 degrees for the start and finish of the run. the heat got to me. plan was slow first mile then between 9: and 9:10 for the next 4, then 8:45 for the next 3 and then 8:30 for the next 2. things didn't go as planned. splits 9:43, 9:08, 9:02, 9:00, 8:57, 8:46, 8:53, 9:06, 9:15, 8:59.
3 hours later I swam using our tether and went moderately hard for 10 minutes.
