| | Easy run down by the river under the moonlight after wrestling practice tonight. Hope to be able to keep finding time to get some miles in. | Comments(2) |
| | Early morning run. Pretty cool out the first 3 or 4. Then the sun started warming it up a little. Was going to run a few more this afternoon but time slipped away. Still may but chances are low. | Comments(3) |
| | 8.5 miles up into the desert over to the water tank down the turkey road and over through the industrial park to loop around to the house. I'll call this the (industrial loop) from now on. On my last mile Dustin drove by. I felt pretty good considering I'm pretty sick right now. After the run I went to practice and got things going and did anouther mile and a half alway on the run while giving more push-ups to those who chose to coast in practice. Did 90 push-ups myself and 150 sit-ups for a well balanced workout. Then came home early to rest up and try and shake this bug thats taxing my body. | Comments(3) |
| | Crap-O-la today. I had nothing to do all day and it was a wonderful warm above 60 day in Dixie and I was sick. I had planned to run 13-18 miles today and finish off my week because I'll be out of town the rest of the weekend on a wrestling trip. Just got real sick last night and I couldn't get off the couch all day. Sucks. | Comments(3) |

| | Had a day to do whatever I wanted so I woke up and got ready to do a big run. I ran the same 20 miler that Bill, Dustin and I ran back on March 25th. According to Dustin's blog we ran it back then at 2:28 or just around 7:25 pace. Today I went out real easy with the goal to just log the miles. However I hit the halfway point (my in-laws house) at one hour straight up and felt like I had been running pretty smooth and easy. But then I wanted to run the second half as close as I could to the first and try and do the 20 right around 2hrs....Well the second half has a few more hills and I started to lose steam and ended up finishing right around 2:10. Which isnt bad for someone who considers themselves out of shape. It was kind of fun to get out and see where I'm at- at the mid winter point/ without a treadmill. Felt pretty good and feel good about the time off this winter. By February when I start cranking up the miles I should be right where I want to be to start the 07' year off. I talked to the guy at Nordic Trac and should have my treadmill in 3-5 days. I ended up spending a little $$$ and upgrading to the Elite modle with a built in TV (for my wife oviously). Well see how I feel tomorrow on my run to see how I really feel? Ride's | Comments(5) |

| | Dixie Desert Storm Wrestling Tour all day. 6:30 a.m-9:30p.m. So no time to run. Pretty good day. My wife ran the computers and was able to be there so that was nice. The team finished 3rd out of 16 teams. We had 6 guys make it to the finals but only two took first place. The season is just plugging along- one dual Wednesday night with Hurricane and then Christmas break....then it's almost over. | Add Comment |
| | 4 miles around the high school before wrestling. 3 miles on my new treadmill at the house after setting it up. It's loaded with features (t.v., mp3 hook-up, fans, heart rate chest belt, and much more... but it's still running on a treadmill. Anyways I hope it will help me get some miles in over the winter, and on some really hot days next summer. | Comments(4) |

| | Good day. Woke up in Torrey and had Christmas morning with my family then at 10am we drove the 3 hours back to STG and had Christmas with Mik'L's family at around 2pm. Went home around 5pm with our mega stash and I got in a quick 3 miles on the treadmill before we went back to the in-laws house to play games. | Add Comment |
| | I did my water tank loop around 11am and hope to get some more in this afternoon. My wife gave me a Garmin for Christmas and I've been dieing to run with one. I was really pleased with how close my loop was just from using Google Earth to measure the distance. After my run my "Tool" said I had run 7.08. So I'm looking forward to measuring all my little runs around my house to see how close they are. 6.5 more miles tonight up around Green Spring golf course. Ride p.m. | Comments(3) |
| | This run on the treadmill was only 7 miles but if felt like 17 outside. 49:58 The last half mile was at 2% grade. To cold and rainy all day to talk myself into going out, although I wanted to go use my new toy. | Add Comment |
| | I did a version of my old "Big loop." Up to the powerline trail. Then over to where the trail meets the Millcreek road- From there I ran up and back to the water house and then down to Green Spring golf course. Then made my way back home. I wore some trail shoes that are not as light as other shoes, and they picked up alot of mud off the trail that made them even more taxing to lift. I'm starting to love the garmin. Just being able to take off any direction with no worries is nice. I wore the heart rate part today. Ave heart rate was 164 Yes I'm out of shape. | Comments(1) |
| | Took my car in to get some things done so I left from the dealership. Ran from Blackridge up the hill and down into Bloomington and around the loop. Then I went under the freeway and into Bloomington Hills around Webb Hill. I went back up the bike trail over to river road and then took the other trail back down the river to the Dixie Center and then over to Blackridge. HR 163 Ride's | Add Comment |
| | Good run this morning with the STG Running Club. First half was pretty slow. It was real cold and was hard to get going. Picked up the pace the last couple miles to see if I could even run any more. I put two and two together and came up with- Cold mornings= Slow hard runs. Glad to put together a pretty good week. HR- 148 (a lot lower than last couple of days?) | Add Comment |
