Had a day to do whatever I wanted so I woke up and got ready to do a big run.

I ran the same 20 miler that Bill, Dustin and I ran back on March 25th. According to Dustin's blog we ran it back then at 2:28 or just around 7:25 pace.

Today I went out real easy with the goal to just log the miles. However I hit the halfway point (my in-laws house) at one hour straight up and felt like I had been running pretty smooth and easy. But then I wanted to run the second half as close as I could to the first and try and do the 20 right around 2hrs....Well the second half has a few more hills and I started to lose steam and ended up finishing right around 2:10. Which isnt bad for someone who considers themselves out of shape. It was kind of fun to get out and see where I'm at- at the mid winter point/ without a treadmill.

Felt pretty good and feel good about the time off this winter. By February when I start cranking up the miles I should be right where I want to be to start the 07' year off.

I talked to the guy at Nordic Trac and should have my treadmill in 3-5 days. I ended up spending a little $$$ and upgrading to the Elite modle with a built in TV (for my wife oviously).

Well see how I feel tomorrow on my run to see how I really feel?

Nice Job! And an "elite" model for an "elite" runner.

Wow Clyde. I thought you were taking it easy this winter!

Clyde, way to get in an awesome run! Keep up as much running as you can. With the extra strength you're getting from wrestling with the High School and still getting in some miles you are going to be leaps and bonds ahead of where you were last year at the same time.

Nice work on the run. Like you I am now finding it hard to do everything since I am coaching basketball. I don't feel totally out of shape, but certainly not where I would like to be. The treadmill sounds sweet, I am just curious if you will be able to still play xbox on it and run at the same time?
