Grass was frosted over, it was cold, early, hilly, and basically everything set for some slow times, but good effort. I feel that I'm in a good spot for where I want to be now in order to be ready for march 15.

Felt pretty decent, breathing wasn't great but it wasn't bad. Legs felt GREAT! went out in 4:27, I feel that I should have gone out with aidan and garnica cuz I feel that I would have slowed down about the same amount, I just was too scared. Felt like I'm finally growing stronger again though so I'm happy about the race, and I should be able to throw down some good times in the future.

Calf was bugging me a lot. 4x mile. Coach wanted me running in the front with the A group but I didn't feel like I should. but i still did it. went 4:32, 4:33, then switched to flats, and my calf tightened up bad after 1000, but I was going 4:35 pace, then last one i just kinda gave up and ran 4:47. Calf just didn't loosen up.

4 mile race, coach told me before the race, just go out, be patient and then go for it. So that's kind of what I did, I was a little too patient and let Aidan get like a 15 second gap by 2 miles, then I started going, and closed it down to about 5 seconds, then last mile I slowed a bit and the gap got back up to 15 seconds. Most of it was running on my own. So I probably won't go to conference but maybe if I look good, coach said that I could still go to nationals which would be the goal.

3k race: went out and felt strong and good the whole time. I don't think I have ever felt so good in a race. I came through the mile at 4:16. i felt a little bit tired by the mile but I was thinking that i would be fine throughout. kept up the pace but then I got stuck behind a guy who slowed down. I kicked it in at the end super well. my splits were 64, 64, 63, 64, 63, 66, 64, 30 (for the 200).

But it got better the further along. My form wasn't great, but on one jump I accelerated well into the hurdle and kept the momentum so that was the 1 time I jumped it well.

| pretty sure I was suffering from heat exhaustion. Didn't drink anything, was running in the middle of the day and went too quick and too many hills so my fault. Stopped in the shade for a bit cuz and was dry heaving and felt like I was gonna collapse... and was still 3.5 miles out.
