| They called us over for the mile way early so I didn't get a warm up in besides strides. Went out hard, and died a little bit but really happy with the time based off of conditions. Then did a two mile cool down. Then got .66 mile warm up for the 4x800. Justin led with a 2:02 to put us in first. then Josh with a 2:07, then Seth with a 2:10, then I closed with a 2:02 but lost the lead for us. Should have kicked it harder cuz I think I could have held off Chris cuz he slowed down at the very end, I was just a baby but lol I had the baton like 3 seconds before him so he ran a lot faster then me so Shout Out to him!

| Well, 1.75 warmup for the 3200. My breathing was off and my coach thinks I have a misaligned rib. Race went pretty well. Calves were tight after 400 which made me super scared but they didn't really get worse which was a #blessing. Also a way fun kick at the end with the one and only Michael Hinckley! Cooled down 2.5/warmup for the 4x800 which was like 30 minutes after the 3200. I started and randomly my breathing was like opened up which was amazing so I actually split a decent time! 2:00-2:01! Gonna do the run tomorrow and if my breathing stays fine I won't go to the doc. just over 2 mile cool down with a 100 meter sprint that I got gypped on cuz I had to swing from behind in lane 4. still got podium though. Shout out to all the people who raced!!! And shout out to all the cool people I hung out with especially the skyridge squad cuz they're dope!

First 5 miles were kind of hard but then my legs started feeling really good which was nice! Also we had some Olympic Gold medalists here, 1 won triple jump in 1984 and the other one long jump 2016 and we had a banquet with them which was cool!

I've been kind of burnt out from running. 800 later and gave up the last part as well. Went 2:02. Talked to my coach and we're going to change up training for a little bit to get me back fully so excited for that. Also decided to do the invitational 3200 and not the 1600. I'll be ready for that. Church ball regionals was tonight! Our team won by over 20! 55-33. Scored 14 points, 7 steals, 4 rebounds, idk how many assists but i think around 5. Also got fouled pretty hard and hit my head on the wall and landed on my shoulder which it hurts. Oh well, all for the good of church ball and all the fans screaming at the refs who didn't call a foul on that... smh. Got like 20 minutes of playing time!

| Courtney and ryan said just 5 or 6 since we struggled in the workout yesterday. Went 5. Then played some basketball after. Was planning on going to the meet but i have 2 games of church ball tonight in the regional tournament so stayed home for that.
Well basketball was great. Won both games, one against a team that demolished craik's ward yesterday. We got them 42-40. Then we won the other one 72-62 which was madi hafen's ward. Pretty crazy games. Played around 60 of the 80 minutes and probably got the most playing time of everyone on my team. Got a nice bruise on my knee and hip and some cuts and blisters but all for a good cause. We're in the finals on tuesday so I'm ready to go win again hopefully!

| Juniors were registering for classes and Seth had to pick up someone for something so I just ran by myself. Started at my house and decided I needed a good mountainy/trail run so I headed up to Bonneville and instead of going on the trail I went up on one of the trails that broke off of it. Went up about 500 ft. and it was pretty dang steep so got like no mileage from that. But found a sick trail that went across above Bonneville so took that for a while then it connected on to Bonneville and ran on that. Pretty enjoyable run.

| I was super stressed cuz our stats test got started late smh and they said I had to wait til the time was up even if I finished. Opened in 59-60ish then started putting a little heat on, Justin went by me which kind of mentally broke me, but then 200 left found some juice and kicked it in. Also got spiked in the hand which was quite an experience. Got 3rd so I qualified. That was the goal. 4.5 mile cool down.

| Got to the meet and warmed up for the 3200, my breathing was pretty bad. Raced that and wasn't thrilled with it, went 9:23. My breathing was just rough. Legs felt great though. Then did a 3.75 mile cool down with skyridge even though I had the 800. Then went and played kill and messed around just thinking I'll run the 800 for the heck of it. Then warmed up with Craik and got to the start line and knew it was my last race for Lone Peak so I decided to just go right behind the leaders through the first 400 then went to the lead for the last 400. Went til 200 to go and Frasier went next to me so I went faster and he dropped off. Then the home stretch I was in the lead and saw the time with about 50 meters to go at 1:50 and I should have pushed harder at that end part cuz I got passed but oh well. Still new PR, even after racing a lot before and messing around and not caring much about it.
Shout out to all the cool people I hung out with there especially all those who played Kill with us which was a good time.
Also happy cuz no Davis guy beat me in any event so that would make Talon happy!

| This leg wrecked me. Timpanogas was in front of us by a little bit so I chased brennan down in like two miles... oops. Went 5:20 then 5:26. Slowed to I think two in the 5:40's then 2 in the 5:50's, then a big hill came and went 6:48 and last mile was 6:12. Good times though. Also wrecked my stomach for some reason and I couldn't sit up straight for more then 5 minutes without it cramping really bad.
Then ragnar hill was a beast! I caught Riverton near the top which gave us the 3rd place finish overall. Also the top was snowy which how the heck are you supposed to run up a super steep hill while sliding back. So i pretty much walked that entire part. Only Davis and an elite local team including jared beat us! Pretty impressed that our coed team got 3rd overall and top coed by over 3 hours. Super fun!

| Ran in the New Pegasus 34's! They felt soooo good! Just 4.62 at 7:42 pace. It was pretty tough lol. My legs are wrecked but Ragnar was a good time for sure! Lots of new kids still, hopefully they all stay. Gonna do some gnarly night runs if anyone wants to come on any of them!

| Didn't make it to practice cuz I was able to go through the temple this morning, super cool experience! Then went to work later and after ran 4.75 with Joe. Did parts of Charlie Brown, Mtn. Run and Aviary. Good time and good talks with Joe! He's going to the world mtn running championships representing USA so congrats to him!!! Super sick!!!

| Hiked Mahogany at 3:30, slower paced hike cuz the guys I was with weren't all xc kids but it was still stellar. Decided that I still wanted to run and if I didn't go to xc it would be boring cuz I don't like running alone, so I decided to haul down mahogany and made it to practice on time! Took over an hour and a half to hike up and made it down in 28 minutes of moving time, I'm gonna be feeling it tomorrow. 6.35 at practice, good old black trail.

| Today was the day! Was deciding whether to do it coming down near lambert or down the canyon and decided Lambert cuz it was easier to make a loop instead of running straight back up. Felt like it was too steep after though so I wish I chose the canyon. Did .2 mile warm up, then took off, first 10 seconds my hammy's were tight but I kept going and they didn't get much worse. Checked my watch at 2:37 and I thought it said .53 and I was like well that's a bust, but decided to keep going and seeing what I would finish at. Then I check it at 3:02 and saw it said .80 and I realized I must have misread it. Cruised in to the finish and finished with 3:53! This was just for fun, definitely doesn't count as a PR or having a better mile time then all those fast guys who almost/do break four on the track. Lots of fun, next up will be a 5k on the track trying to break 15 minutes.

| Good times with the team. Felt pretty tired in the morning waking up, probably cuz I only slept a tiny bit last night but still came to run. Went and ran by lone peak, and ran against the wave of AF half marathoners and got told we were going the wrong way like a thousand times. Looped around, got 9.5 at the park and looped around more to get to 10.1. Basically a third of my weekly mileage so good times.
Went and did some trails with joe later in the night! Super sick! Good times!

Yay! Kinley was home from China and that was super exciting so some of the work crew hung out! Good times, but before that Joe and I did extended Mt. run and got 7 miles. Stellar time but I don't know how I would feel after doing multiple weeks of these kind of mileage days like college!

Super crazy day, right after I got home went straight to the bank to make sure my debit card would work, then right after that went and packed a bit more, then right after that bball with some of the squad, then to a friends before he left to idaho and doesn't get back til after I leave, then right after that to UtahRUN to say bye to some of the fam, and to pick up some tevas, then to run with Skyridge good ol' jail trail, then to get a snow cone with ellie, then to talk to mickinley. Gonna miss her a lot and all the other people! Now it's 11:30 and in under 24 hours I will be set apart as a missionary.
Also sorry to all the other people who called me to do stuff but I didn't answer cuz I was busy... and I'm busy all day tomorrow. Gonna miss you all!

| Last blog entry for the next two years. Drove up to the kaysville 5k. My back was tight so I knew it was gonna be difficult. Race started and some davis alumni started out hard, then Garrett Barton and I caught him. We passed him and started hauling down the hill, 4:40 pace. Then the uphill started. Garrett pulled away, took a wrong turn so I had to run a tiny bit after him and yell him down to get on the course again then I got back on the course and ran til he caught me with 300 to go and then just kept the pace going in. Garrett went for it cuz he deserved the W cuz he would have had a 30 m gap had he not gone off course. Good times though. I hope that all of your running goes well, I would love to hear about it and anything else in life.
