| Had to get covid tested so I was already down at BYU so I ran with the team. It was just Casey, Adam, Aidan and I. Aidan started cooking on the way back so we ended up splitting some fast miles. (a couple 5:1X and one 5:0X)

| Workout mile, 1200, 800, mile, 1200, 800. None of the times were very quick, i was in the group which suprised me, and we were a lot closer to mantz then I was expecting. Grass was frosted over, it was cold, early, hilly, and basically everything set for some slow times, but good effort. I feel that I'm in a good spot for where I want to be now in order to be ready for march 15.

Felt pretty decent, breathing wasn't great but it wasn't bad. Legs felt GREAT! went out in 4:27, I feel that I should have gone out with aidan and garnica cuz I feel that I would have slowed down about the same amount, I just was too scared. Felt like I'm finally growing stronger again though so I'm happy about the race, and I should be able to throw down some good times in the future.

Calf was bugging me a lot. 4x mile. Coach wanted me running in the front with the A group but I didn't feel like I should. but i still did it. went 4:32, 4:33, then switched to flats, and my calf tightened up bad after 1000, but I was going 4:35 pace, then last one i just kinda gave up and ran 4:47. Calf just didn't loosen up.

| made it out about half a mile but my calf was bugging me too much so i just turned around and will try in the afternoon maybe

| thousand times better than yesterday, my calf hardly hurt walking, and after getting combo done on it as well as massaged and heated, my calf didn't hurt too much on the run. Didn't do the workout though just to play it safe
