| Not what I hoped. Warm up then race Felt good, really good, except at 3k in my calf started hurting and it got worse, then at a little after 5k coach pulled me. Super annoying that my calf decided not to cooperate because my breathing was better then it was at OSU. I felt soooo smooth and spoon easy throughout the whole thing besides my calf. Super bummer but maybe I'll get to run conference if my calf is better. 13.2 in the afternoon. wasn't planning on going that far but the workout lasted long.
3.5 warmup, 10 minutes at 4:54 pace, 5 min. 4:46 pace, 3 min. 4:39 pace, 2 min 4:28 pace, 1 min 4:18 pace. Felt super smooth, although I think I had a rib out so I'm gonna get that fixed and then i should be ready to roll.

| Coach said we are racing for a spot to go to conference so I decided to use my lazy friday on wednesday so that I could be better prepared for tomorrow.

few mile warm up.
4 mile race, coach told me before the race, just go out, be patient and then go for it. So that's kind of what I did, I was a little too patient and let Aidan get like a 15 second gap by 2 miles, then I started going, and closed it down to about 5 seconds, then last mile I slowed a bit and the gap got back up to 15 seconds. Most of it was running on my own. So I probably won't go to conference but maybe if I look good, coach said that I could still go to nationals which would be the goal.

6.9 in the afternoon in Las Vegas. Tried on the Dragonfly's and they felt super good. I'm an alternate for the race tomorrow, but I'm racing the 3k in washington on friday. I'm going to borrow some dragonfly's because they are amazing!

| 2.1 in the morning for a shakeout. legs felt kinda sluggish from all the travel but I think they should be fine for tonight. goal is sub 8:00
2 mile warmup
3k race: went out and felt strong and good the whole time. I don't think I have ever felt so good in a race. I came through the mile at 4:16. i felt a little bit tired by the mile but I was thinking that i would be fine throughout. kept up the pace but then I got stuck behind a guy who slowed down. I kicked it in at the end super well. my splits were 64, 64, 63, 64, 63, 66, 64, 30 (for the 200).

3 mile cool down with a guy from washington named julius. he's a cool guy.
