2.1 in the morning for a shakeout. legs felt kinda sluggish from all the travel but I think they should be fine for tonight. goal is sub 8:00

2 mile warmup

3k race: went out and felt strong and good the whole time. I don't think I have ever felt so good in a race. I came through the mile at 4:16. i felt a little bit tired by the mile but I was thinking that i would be fine throughout. kept up the pace but then I got stuck behind a guy who slowed down. I kicked it in at the end super well. my splits were 64, 64, 63, 64, 63, 66, 64, 30 (for the 200).

Shout out to the hully bible for cheering me on

3 mile cool down with a guy from washington named julius. he's a cool guy.

Congratulations on a great race. Too bad about getting stuck behind the slow guy and losing your momentum. Keep up the good work!!
