3 really slow and easy miles.  It felt really good. 

I would walk for .25 on the TM with an incline of 11 and then run .50 on 6.7 speed.

Hopefully I will have more time to go back to the gym tonight.

Fun day!

5 AM spin class

1.6 miles with the track team!  I think I am going to love coaching track.  I love running with some of my students and encouraging them.  What was the phrase that kept them going today?  Me telling them, "Think of all you friends right now eating nachos!  You guys are the bomb! "  I love encouraging the female runners especially. 

50 minutes on the stair stepper @ West Valley Rec Center.

My Dance Co. also performed tonight and did an AWESOME job.  I am one proud teacher today.  I have never mentioned this on the blog, but my students call me "Ramp-Dog."  No lie.

Yesterday I signed up to volunteer at the St. George Ironman on May 1st.  I am totally stoked to help those athletes.

My Ipod has been missing for a week, I miss it deeply. :( One of my students stole it.  Joys of teaching Jr. High.

.75 with the track team.  I wanted to run with them, but they made me tell them their lap splits.  Those little stinks!  I also watched the kids do the long jump today.  Track is more exciting than I thought.

PM spin class. 

My schedule is so busy for the next few weeks and I don't know how I am going to fit all of my workouts in. :(

More than a mile at the pool in about 40 minutes.

MandP workout @ West Valley rec.  Some HUGE muscle man came and told me he was proud of me for lifting such heavy duty weights.  He was impressed because most ladies just run miles and miles.  Then I told him I would rather run miles and miles.

I did a machine called a "ROPE TOW."  MY upper body got a terrific workout. 

BUSY BUSY day.  AMAZING AMAZING day as well.

Last night (Friday) I stayed at a cabin up Big Cottonwood Canyon with friends.  I had so much fun playing games, laughing, and getting to know people.  I planned to leave early Saturday morning for my big workout.  Well, that failed and I stayed up there until the afternoon.  

I woke up before everyone else and hit the snowy, icy, trails.  I softly jogged up toward Doughnut Falls and left the snowshoes I was carrying on the side of the trail.  On the way back down I passed cross country skiers that were also enjoying the lovely morning.  I got back to where I had placed my snowshoes, and they were gone!  I figured the skiers had taken them so I ran all the way back up the hill to catch them.  They told me they saw the snowshoes and threw them behind a log on the other side of the path.  I was a little annoyed.  It took me about 10 minutes to find where they had put the snowshoes.

Went back to the cabin and ate some breakfast.  After breakfast everyone wanted to go up to the falls, so back up to the falls I went!  The falls are beautiful!  It's an easy trail and I will be going back in the spring to run it.

Got home, went to the gym and did 6 miles in 50 minutes on the TM.  The leg is feeling a lot better.  I lifted for about 30 minutes after that.
