Beautiful morning for a long run. Left at 40 degrees, back with an 8.30 pace in 45 degrees! Hands were a little numb when I got back, but not enough to run with gloves. I'll wear them again for the race in a few weeks, but just give them to someone on the sidelines who looks like they need them like I did last year :) |

A good run in 64 degrees, overcast! The side of my right knee really started bothering me at around mile 4, had to stop a few times to walk it out. Not good! Wanted to go 10 miles this morning but didn't want to push my luck. Took an evening walk to the fountain and back to stretch my hip which is hurting now for some reason. Beautiful evening temps!

Hiked 16 miles to the top of Table Mountain with three friends. Took us 9 hours with a mixed bag of weather... Sun, rain, hail (ouch) on the way up, then thunderstorms, rain & slippery trails all the way down! FUN day :)
I had a chance to ride up to Driggs & back with Evan Honeyfield's wife, Anita... We talked about Evan most of the way home, a FAST ultra runner, wowza!!!!! He came in 1st place during the 2011 Wasach 100 is 19 hours, 32 minutes, WHO DOES THAT?!??!?! |

| Super fun run this morning. We had about 400 more participants than last year with 1,658 participants 1,075 5K runners! My running group did so well with students from the age of 9 to 14! My Belle finished ahead of me being the 81st finisher overall, 5th in her girls age group of 42 runners! I finished 96th taking 4th place of 63 woman in my old age group with a pace of 7:30 and a finish time of 23:16.

| Another fun Iron Girl but enjoyed last years distance of 10 miiles better. 10K's are hard for me for some reason, but it was fun to run a 10K with my running girls, they make me SOOOO proud, their training sure paid off today. There were 845 runners today. 244 in the 10K, 601 in the 5K!

| Showed up at running group wearing the wrong shoes... ugghhh! Hate when that happens. Luckily my friend was able to get them started while I changed them, but definitely put me behind. Felt my hamstrings a little due to the hills yesterday, but a great run. Came home and jumped rope for 20 minutes to make up the mileage + abs!
