AM: 3 Easy miles this morning, I ran it pretty fast for a morning run.

PM: Ran as a group down by the new road by Dog Pound. We eventually started running on the Shnobe Kibe Trail. It was really fun to run up and down these hills on the trail.

It was a fun race/workout today. I ran from my house to the meet.

Distance Medley Relay: I ran the 400, Austin the 800, FRE the 1200, and Kimzey the 1600. I don't know what my split was or the teams was but we won. Total Time: 12:16.84

4x800: Austin, Me, Danny, and FRE took 2nd and beat the Freshman team that thought they could beat us. Total Time: 9:32.44

4x200: I was on a slow team and I'm sure I didn't help. I probably ran a 27 second 200. We took 5th out of 6 teams. Total Time: 1:50.88. Cody Hintze was on the fast team and he crushed on the first leg. I'm excited that he is going to be running soon.

AM: Easy 3 this morning.

PM: Ran an easy 5 miler in the desert with a big group. I whipped Trevor with my shirt and went for a second time and nailed his elbow with my hand real hard. I felt bad after doing this. When we were heading down through Nissons park Willy was running down this steep hill and disappeared into some bushes. It looked like he fell like 10 feet. It was so funny!

1600: The longer I waited for this race the worst I felt. The wind sucked!

time: 5.29

800: I thought I ran pretty well but my time still sucked. I took 4th or 5th in my heat atleast. I went to the outside at the beginning to get up near the lead, this wasted a lot of energy.

I ran the first leg of this 10 man relay. It was  .76 long and 28 teams competed. I started out in the back of the pack and stayed with Austin. On the tough uphill we started passing everyone. I finished about 2 seconds behind Austin. Some dude took first and Karl took second(He probably would have won if he hadn't been sick). Austin said that he was the next guy behind Karl but my brother said he saw 3 guys before me and Austin. So me and Austin either took 3rd and 4th or 4th and 5th. I didn't feel that good during this run but I thought I ran well. I know I was only close to Austin because he had ran 9 miles prior to this race. My team took 5th overall.

I ran with my dad today I think he wanted to kill me with his workout. We did a mile warm-up before our 8 (uphill) 400's on the Turkey Road.

1. 1.28              5. 1.26

2. 1.23              6. 1.25

3. 1.26              7. 1.23

4. 1.24              8. 1.20

Once we finished these 400's we had run about 4 miles counting the 400s, mile warmup, and jogging in between each 400. So we took off by the water tank and ran some slow miles in the desert. Once we got back to the Turkey Road we had about a mile and half left. Our last mile was 6.17.
