6- Ran up the La Verkin Twist on the trail, then veered off on another trail, went up 2 miles then came back down, then ran along 100 east over to the cow field then back home on the state route.  I just took it pretty easy.  I haven't been feeling very motivated lately.

6- Ran down and did Nephi's Twist.  I really struggled going up the steep hill once on the top I hit the downhill miles of the La Verkin Twist pretty hard.

2-Did 2 miles easy before basketball this morning

Basketball for an hour.

6- Ran up the Overlook Trail, never easy going up that way.  Once up on top and took a few minutes like always to just look out across town and over toward Hurricane and St. George.  It was really windy this afternoon and threatening to rain.  I came back down on the La Verkin Twist trail.

Did a run this afternoon from the Staples on Kolob Road down through Virgin and the La Verkin Twist.  I did this run back in April, so it was interesting to compare splits.

So I was a little slower today than in April.  I especially struggled on the uphills.  Anyway, glad I did this run but I'm still feeling pretty worried about STG.  Probably just try to go with the attitude of having a good time and trying to run with friends, not worry about a certain or place.  I know that might sound lame, but that is kind of where my attitude is right now with running.

Ran 1.5 miles around La Verkin, then got in my truck and drove up to Rockville. I ran 10 down from Rockville and then met up with Sunny.  I felt ok on this run, expect I wore the compression socks and my feet were on fire, they really were bugging me, not hot like a blister, but more like athlete's foot or something?  They were also bugging me last night before bed.  Anyway not sure if I will wear the compression socks during the marathon.  I might go get some of the sleeves.  Ok back to the run.  I actually did this same run last year on this same weekend.  Comparing the times, I'm not as far off as I thought I would be.  Last year I averaged 6:50 for 15.  Today was 6:59 for 10, but I also never felt like I was pushing the pace.  Also last year I was 10 pounds lighter, so I'm sure that makes a difference
