| I don't hate running but my life has been way better since doing less. I already have a very active lifestyle and running just adds more unnecessary stress and fatigue. Running is good for you but not if you are already moving a lot. I haven't felt this good since I was a little kid. I have less anxiety, procrastination, fatigue, brain fog, sadness, irritability, mood swings, and pain. I have more quality sleep, energy, focus, motivation, and an overall increase in satisfaction of life. I think running one mile a day won't hurt, but running more than 3 is not ideal. |

| Around 16:00. First mile was 8:23 (on the hill course). At 1.5 I was at 12:17, but I think I accidentally paused it for almost a minute. This pace felt like 14:00 for 2 miles. I am still on the fence if I want to train for longer distances one day or if I should choose a completely new sport. If I want to be faster I would have to be thinner. I would rather not do that because I have more of a gymnast body and feel better not having a runner's body. I will put in the work to be a fit runner without overtraining and will see what kind of sport works best. |

He said he is grateful for my advice and is reconsidering. I hope he takes it and goes to college. I also gave him the scripture D&C 58:26-29. We need to trust the Lord but also be anxiously engaged in good works by our own free will. We shouldn't wait to be commanded in all things. I felt much better today and my heart didn't feel weird at all. I think I was right and just needed sleep and keep electrolytes more balanced. Still worked extremely hard and was sore from moving things but I think running 3 every morning is going to be just fine. |

Pro-Life Utah has a mobile clinic and we give free ultrasounds right outside the abortion clinic. No babies saved today, but we had lots of conversations with the other volunteers about religion. It is just crazy to me that abortions are still allowed and that most latter-day saints don't do a lot to help save babies. Also, before my run I went on a date at the pond with a guy I met at the car repair shop. Literally 10 minutes after the date I ran around the same pond with a different boy. Just thought it was funny I was with two boys who have a crush on me in the same place. |

| 22:44 with Taylor. This morning we went to the sidewalks of planned parenthood again. It is the last day of being a sidewalk advocate until winter break probably. There were lots of angry people as always. A car that was passing by rolled down it's window and a girl yelled out telling us to go home and other cruel things. I handed a women a business card and she kindly said thank you. I then watched her walk about 20 ft away and she began ripping it apart with her mouth and spitting on the ground. She then looked back and flipped us off. I got flipped off only 3 times today. These type of encounters happened about 4 times each day and it really shows that Satan is not happy with us being out there. |

I am not used to going into the anaerobic zone. Once I retrain myself to be more long suffering I think my mile time will get much faster. |

| First 2 in around 9 min pace with Taylor, Davis, and the Pachevs. Then just Taylor, Davis, William, and I did one in around 7:20. Today was interesting and important for my development. I worked 9.5 hours at the daycare then I drove Taylor and Davis to Orem to volunteer for the Utah Foster Care kids night out event. I have been struggling a lot just this month with stress from the past from my cousin who took advantage of me. It is hard to be around boys sometimes and today was especially hard. I wanted to take note of today because after the most stressful drive, instead of volunteering I took time stay outside and release my fears and replace it with God's truth. I was able to calm my nervous system completely, and I think I finally figured out a way to stay calm. Hopefully I will have less stress in these situations because of the things I learned. After the run, William had a long conversation with us and we were able to make amends. I am very grateful for the Atonement of Jesus Christ that fixes every wrong. |

| I have been burnt out from fear and I felt very stuck. I was able to talk to Taylor's mom, she helped so much. I am so grateful. She taught me how to better balance my life so I do not "run faster than I have strength," I never understood this scripture till now. I don't need to run just for the sake of running, but in order to be a better disciple. I don't need to run to the point of exhaustion every time, and I don't need to do the hardest thing I can think of constantly. |

| I didn't even go to Taylor's house. I have been way too stressed, when I tried to exercise it just made it worse. I just needed to rest. I think I had a lot of emotions that have not been dealt with, it felt very painful when I released them through journaling and feeling the emotions. I usually avoid emotions but I realized that just makes it worse. It's interesting how the amount of adrenaline I had can cause physical sickness, it felt like I had a fever and extreme chest pressure. All is well now, I just needed to wait it out. |

| We just went on a mile walk with Emma and Taylor. I felt very peaceful, we talked for a while afterwards. I would have liked to run but I was having a lot of anxiety beforehand and didn't want to freak out on the run when I was alone with Taylor. |

| 26:43 with Taylor. We kicked for about the last 0.4 miles to around a 6 min pace. I really needed to do that fast, I was able to release a lot of energy that has been causing stress. Taylor was very tired afterwards, so was I, but it felt so good to feel that kind of pain. I forgot how much I like pain, and how much voluntary pain improves my attitude. I haven't had any anxiety at all today or on the run with Taylor. I am glad to be back running again. |

| Ran about 2.5 miles with Taylor in 20:22. I have finally been able to somewhat control the anxiety so I got to run with him again. It's been about 2 weeks since I ran with him. I have a lot to learn still, and the fear is definitely still there. After running with him I went to the Pachev's and did one with Leigha, Mary, and Bella. They got 10:05 except Mary got 10:25. Then did one with Just Bella in 7:53. Mary was too exhausted to do her second. Bella is hilarious. She told me how when she is running a race she will pinch herself and if the pain of the pinch is more than the pain of running she will go faster because she knows she can tolerate more pain. She kept telling me to speed up because she had too much adrenaline. She said she wanted to slow down after going too fast but it is funny because she was having a hard time slowing down to a comfortable pace. I am very similar to Bella, and it is very interesting to see her desire to voluntarily push herself beyond her limits. |
