| Good run today, my overall pace was 7:37. I bought new shoes yesterday with the help of Kory. Thanks Kory, i think they will be good running shoes. I was feeling good, but i am wondering if i am pushing myself too much before the race. I will try to slow down tomorrow and see how i feel. I also received my new racing shoes in today and they are really really nice. I think i will run in them tomorrow and try to break them in a little before my race, again thanks to Kory for the help in buying them. Not much else to say, but have a great day!! Today's went ok, my legs were little soar but not to bad. I was trying to keep my time slow because i needed to let my legs rest. My pace was 8:17 per mile. I ran with my new racing shoes today and they were nice. Thanks for reading and have a great day!!

Today i was trying to teach myself to relax while running fast. i think i stress myself out running at faster speeds. For me a 6:3? - 6:4? stresses me out, i think i can not handle running that fast for that long. So in my own way i was teaching myself not to stress out. Today run was really soar. i had a really hard time running anything fast. My overall pace was 8:45 and i tried to use my heart monitor, but the batteries was dead. I am running the course tomorrow with Kory and i needed to rest. Thanks for reading and have a great day!! :)

Today i ran some of the course with Kory. I felt a little tired, but not too bad. Kory would take the lead and try to help me to push myself into running faster miles. I think it helped, because my overall pace was 7:17 which is like 3 seconds slower per mile than my PR. This course is not an easy course it is a series of up and down hill running. But i forgot to tell you in yesterdays blog that i have shin splints again. It is the same leg as last time and i think i have figured out why i keep getting them. When i run i put more pressure on that one leg than i do the other. So now i am back to wrapping my leg again. But thanks to Kory for referring me to his friend who is a massage therapist, i was able to get a full body massage and it think that will help my shin splints a lot. Then i went to the doctor and was treated for shin splints and stress. I think it helped me out, i guess we will see. Thanks for reading and have a great day!! :) (New Balance 21.75 miles ) |
