| Boulder: It finally has stopped raining enough to get out. Didn't have much time but still enjoyed the Boulder Creek trail. The water is fairly high so that was nice to listen to the rumblings of the creek as I ran along. Felt food to get out after a little hiatus.

| Boulder: No time so I risked a little trail run along the creek. Just decided to go and run and get a little something done rather than nothing.

| Pine Valley: Perfect morning for a run. Went out with Carrie and CJ rode his bike. Did the loop up the canyon and on the river walkway trail. I extended it by cutting across the dam and looping again. Also gained some mileage by running back several times to keep CJ moving along. He did love the downhill on his bike.

| Went the counter clockwise route this morning via the Washington Parkway. Didn't like that steep hill. Tried out the Hoka's this morning as I am dealing with the foot again after the 11 on Saturday. Seems that once I hit double digits in a run, the foot tends to flare up. Hopefully the extra cushion will keep me alive.

| Enjoyed a truncated jaunt due to time or lack thereof. Just headed out telegraph and tried to run hard for a bit and coast for a bit. Whatever - at least I got up. (Cumulus 8: 343)

| Got up a little early and ran around the block warming up before Rufio showed up. Did the counter clockwise parkway. Enjoyed getting a couple extra miles in. Just hoping to survive the half on Saturday. (Distance: 349)

| Nice start to the day after getting home after 2 am and getting about an hour and a half of sleep before heading to the busses.
Nice downhill to start got the juices flowing. Found Ally and we chatted for 90% of the race. I wouldn't have kept my pace if I wasn't trying to keep up with her so thanks for pushing me along to be sub 2 hrs.
The course was mainly flat and fun to run on the trails as the sun came up. It's always fun to meet people and get/give shout outs to those you know. I started to tucker after about 10-11 miles and just needed to mentally push through. Happy to have that in the books. Congrats to Dave Holt for 2nd place and bringing home some casholla! Congrats to Rufio for placing 3rd in his age group!
