Russian champion tries Crocs, commits to racing a marathon in them

Nikolay Chavkin in the video below did 3x1000, first two in Adidas carbon-fiber models, the last one in Crocs. Surprised by the result (2:52, 2:52, 2:50) with the fastest interval done in Crocs, he committed to racing a marathon in Crocs if the video gets 42K likes and 195 comments (for 42 km 195 m, the marathon distance). Nikolay's current marathon PR is 2:14:00. The video was created by a Russian sporting goods store chain. Their moto is "more sports - brighter life", which we think is wonderful, and also deserves a Like. If you want to see a fast marathon in Crocs, go to the video and click the Like button. And make sure to share it with your friends.

Very interesting run. I saw like a bajillion people that I knew. then I also did some barefoot grass loop miles and on my last loop a group of girls that were slack lining joined me lol. I was gonna do some this morning but I slept through my alarm at 5:15, but still got up in time for work. Tomorrow I don't have time after work to run so I'll be running at like 4:45ish.

8 in the morning at 4:45... don't like doing that, I just didn't have enough time after work unless I were to go at like 10:30pm.

4 with dalton Brems in the afternoon right between work and a web meeting.

Felt pretty good today. I ran out by deerfield, then to lone peak, did a mile on the track, then back home. All the high school cheerleaders were out so I pretty much slayed them with my 6 pack and good looks lolol.... not really, although there were a couple cat calls haha.

I could feel my foot and ankle but it wasn't too bad

I had some Launch 2's from high school that only had like 50 miles on them because they hurt my achilles, but I really liked the cushioning so I decided to cut part of the back and wore them today. felt pretty good.
