I had some Launch 2's from high school that only had like 50 miles on them because they hurt my achilles, but I really liked the cushioning so I decided to cut part of the back and wore them today. felt pretty good.

good to see you back! my launches from high school were probably my third favorite training shoe, behind the NB zantes and the pegs(obviously).

i've never had that achilles problem before, but about a week ago while i was wearing the pegs during work i noticed the same thing. it stopped after that shift, but it was super annoying.
