I finished a book called The Seville Communion by Arturo Pérez-Reverte. Close to a page-turner, a mystery, at least, w/ an interesting cast of characters.

I finished Oblivion by David Foster Wallace. Conceptually, there are some intriguing stories, mostly tragic juxtapositions, but I prefer his nonfiction.
