| | Half Marathon Monday, Yeah! Except today because I knew right off I wasn't feeling it today. Got through the run ok, this is one of those runs that I can look back on and know I can do 13 no matter how I feel. Really started to get hot outside with about 4.5 to go so I trudged home. Got home and ran the hose on my legs for a little bit, felt good. |

| | Hot, windy, tough miles today. It was between 75 and 80 with a pretty warm strong wind blowing from the south. Not sure why but once it gets above 70 especially with a warm wind that really wipes me out. |

| | Awesome run this morning in the coolness in Island Park. Took a couple of miles to feel completely normal at altitude but no trouble. |

| | Back home in the heat. Good run today I felt really good, could be coming back from running at altitude but I'll take it. Ran the South Weber loop with the Joe's Pizza extension. |

| | Trudging through the run today. Very tired today but it was nice to get out and now I need a nap which I won't get. |

| | Broken record time, the warm mornings are tough on me this year. I seem to be having a hard time acclimating to the warmer mornings. |

| | Out at 5 am so I could get my daughter up to Logan by 8:15 for a soccer game. Hot, windy, and very smoky this morning. There's not much worse for running. It was 75 at 5 am and it's soooooo smoky I think I smoked 2-3 packs today, what's up with that. |

| | Good run today, lots of clouds and even some light rain. Ran down through South Weber again, that's a nice run. At one spot probably 10+ miles in there's an automated radar sign that picked me up at 8 MPH, not too shabby for me especially since I'd forgotten about it and was just running without thinking about pace. |

| | New shoe Tuesday. I love new shoes, especially Kinvara's. Great run on a cooler morning, uneventful today just out running. |

| | Good run again and a decent ave. pace today. I must have seen 10-15 other runners today which is really kind of rare for me, I usually see more bikers and walkers. It was good to see so many other runners out. |

| | Good run today although my legs feel a little tired. Not really sure why but it is what it is. Pretty uneventful run on a great morning. Off to watch my daughter play soccer. |

Up a little early so I could get more 'shade' time running, meaning more running before the sun came up. Great run this morning. Now I'm off to Roatan to dive for a week.... |

| | Back from a week of fabulous diving in Roatan Honduras. One of the awesome dives we had...we were at about 85 ft and there was a 6-7 ft Nurse Shark napping on a ledge on the wall so we were taking a look and a 3ft Barracuda decided to join the group and stopped in the middle of us staring us down. I could have reach out and grabbed it. I was just starting to wonder who was on the menu when the dive master chased it off. Took the week off from running on purpose to give myself a little break. Back to the real world. A little nervous about how I'd do this morning I haven't had a full 9 days off running in over 14 years. Didn't push anything and had a pretty good run, it started to get hot around 8 or so miles and that made it a little tough but I got through it. My wind was great no problems there, that's what was really worrying me. Back to work tomorrow. |

| | Back to the grind, day 2. Legs slightly sore from yesterday but not too bad. Still trying to get back to a normal schedule. Good run today started to feel better about 8 miles in or so. |
