The Dude abides...

Roads were icy and snowpacked this morning so off to the TM.  Watched Ture Grit while toiling away on the Hamster wheel.  Pretty good run today, felt good just set it at 7.0 and ran medium/medium high effort.  Program I use has inclines that go as high as 2.5.

Roads were snow packed, icy, not plowed.  I couldn't face another day on the TM so I decided to hit it out in the Blue Dome.  Roads were as bad as I thought they'd be so the run was an easy pace today.  Not a super great run but better than the TM today.

Left hamstring a little sore, much worse on Friday and Saturday so today's run was at a fairly easy pace.  Great morning with nice temps, after last week we earned it.

Great morning, temp was 51.  Shorts and short sleeve shirt, awesome.  Now we get snow again....bummer.  First run outside in the Altra's, I'm going to like them and they seem to make me pay attention to my form especially going uphill.

What's up after 51 yesterday it was 25 today.  The roads were straight ice I should have worn skates instead of shoes.  Up early to get to SLC for an Oracle conference.

Cold again this morning but at least the roads were dry.  Good run......can't wait for spring.  Tuesday morning was too nice.

PM - 2 miles very easy with my wife and daughter.  Good to get out with them for a change.

Great run today, pretty hard effort for the entire run.  Maybe not the best idea on a sketchy left hamstring but I seem to have pulled through unscathed....well lets say not any more scatched than I was before the run.

Looking forward to the Bare Naked Ladies concert tonight.

Great run under the Blue Dome this morning....well Black Dome for 1/2 the run until the sun started coming up.  Shorts and 2 shirts today, what a great spring like morning.  Now I'm dragging, time change is already killing me this year.

Nice temps this morning but the wind really messed it up.  Very windy this morning, continuing the theme this year.  Good run in the dark, blah blah blah.

Let's try the sarcastic path today....I sure do LOVE running in the wind, I wish it was windy every day.  There hopefully it will be windy again for 3 days straight tomorrow.  Good cruiser this morning and I'm loving the temps, shorts, no gloves.

 PM:  Kudos to Oreo for pointing out the obvious.  Took my daughter to soccer after work and didn't want to sit waiting.  Oreo suggested a run, don't know why I didn't think about that.  Good run in nice weather and no wind.  Ran from Farr West elementary west into Plain City and back. 

Felt really good today for running a double yesterday, much better than I thought I would.  Good run on a great windless morning.  I'm not looking forward to the snow/rain on Sunday/Monday.

Pretty windy again today, yahoo!  Nice morning, great temp and aside from the wind it was a good run.  I think it made my legs tired because they're a little trashed now.

Snowing outside this morning completely bummed me out and I decided to take a day off.  Rolled over and went back to sleep.

Cold again.....blah.  After last weeks warmer mornings this was blah.  Good run aside from the cold.  Feeling good after yesterday off.

Tired today, what's up with that?  Dragged myself through 10 miles today, not too bad considering.  Overdressed today, rolled my sleeves up and took my gloves off.  Great morning for a run.

PM: 5.25 east on 2700N in Farr West/Pleasant View while my daughter practiced soccer.  Good run, negative splits for all 5 miles. 

Fairly easy run today, just cruisin along.  I've noticed over the last couple of weeks that it's nice to have the birds out and singing in the morning.

Great run this morning, I was trying to run easy and relaxed today and definately met that goal.  Made it just in time today with about .9 left it started blowing really hard and then with about .5 left it started sprinkling.  Got home and within 5 mintues there was thunder/lighting, rain, and snow.  Really had to pee half way through, probably was kinda a funny to see me running a long at times kinda doing the pee dance.

Good run on a cooler but really nice morning.  I seen a first this morning, there was a lady driving and brushing her teeth.  No idea where she was going to spit or how she was going to rinse.

Continuing the theme of the week.....great run again.  Every run should be like today.  Ended up with a good pace and my effort felt really easy.

Supposed to be a easy run this morning but I ended up tempoing the 2nd half.  I didn't really think about it until I had 3 miles to go then I just went with it.
