Personal: I have a wonderful wife and son and we live in Riverton/Herriman Utah. I am a high school teacher, and head coach for cross country and track at Mountain Ridge High.

| Been sick for the last week. I finally felt good enough to run. I missed some great running at my camp I put on with Utah State, bummer! Easy 5 miles today while the kids did tempo. It felt like I haven't run in months, legs were tired after 2 blocks!

| Went up to Butterfield park and did some grass intervals. I ran 5 x .35 with the girls and faster JV boys. They were all at 5:35 pace. Felt good, I just wanted to take it easier since I am not 100% yet. |

AM- Butterfield Canyon with the Varsity boys. 8:30s up and 5:40s down. Legs are tired, but I felt hood, other than I am still congested. 7:02 pace for the run. PM- Hot after noon run. Did a loop around Rosecrest and 13400 S from Monarch. 7:10 pace for the run.

| Slept in and ran out to Butterfield Park and back. Legs are sore so it took a while to get moving. 7:06 ave. for the. The last two weeks have really set me back, hopefully I can get back into things and stay healthy. |

| Went out on my own this morning. My left achilles has been bugging me lately, so I need to take care of it better. It hurt a little the first couple of miles and then was fine. I felt felt pretty good after that. I went out to the top of the Cove at 7:45 pace and then hit the drinking fountain by the pond and ran back. I hit a couple decent miles and finished with a 7:02 ave. |
