AM- Singing with Hide. Up Sullivan towards Washington Dam Road. Had a traumatic experience running by the 1.5 on the trail. Ran with Syd and Vanessa. Hit our 4x25 strides. Added 5 with Vanessa and talked about the sophomore jump. Also sang an Oompa Loompa song with Hide. Great way to start the morning! 5.31 miles 

PM- A little warm up with the Silverbacks. .5
 

Didn’t know what to expect after taking some time away from running. Probably shouldn’t have pushed as hard as I did but I had to hold off Ross. Also secured the age group win. I did like the course and getting sprayed by Firetrucks. Good representation from the Silverbacks! Have a long road ahead of me. 3.13 miles 

My nephew James got me involved with this race. So I had to go back to find my niece and 2 nephews. They did so good! 1.05 miles
