"Engaging in a little suffering — however self-imposed, arbitrary and contrived — before breakfast each morning tends to demand some humility and injects some marked relief into the rest of the day, making things sharper, more inspired, more immediately aware of the powerful presence of being. And that seems really worthwhile." A. Krupicka

"I cruised down hills, churned up hills, and floated over the asphalt, existing in a world that seemed to lack the confinements of such ubiquitous rivets as time, obligation, or pain. I knew then that this was destined to be one of those serendipitous runs for which so many of
us strive yet so rarely achieve." J. Nevels

Nice.

I don't know what your blog title means and I'm too lazy to Google it. Much like I was too lazy to put a comma in that compound sentence I just wrote.

thanks Burt - i don't know what the blog title means either. it's a title to a Dave Matthews band song...

From Burt on Mon, May 12, 2014 at 18:58:29 from 97.117.230.188

A band representative told a band fan site in 2002 that the phrase "pantala naga pampa" is believed by the band to mean "I have a snake in my pants" in colloquial Tamil. They learned the phrase from their cook, who was fond of using the phrase.

Who is Dave Matthews?

From JD on Tue, May 13, 2014 at 09:28:45 from 70.96.78.188

uh oh! i would think a snake in one's pants would be a little uncomfortable. you know exactly who dave matthews is.

thanks for the research.
