| | 7 miles in the cold wintery weather. Coach made us run to the IF track with our backpacks. Nearly was hit by a car! I ran some 400m and beat everyone else by about a minute. By the time I went home I was soaking wet and couldn't feel my hands.

Taylorview Dual Meet (1 Miles) 00:05:41, Place overall: 4 | | Today was the first track meet of the season, and while i di very well the team did not. in the 800m i led for the entire race and got a time of 2:32. and placed second. i was neck and neck with first but decided to let him win and i save for the mile. on the 1600 i placed fourth witha time of 5:41. while i did not get my ideal time i did get my PR for a elevation mile.

| | AM. Today i went for 4 easy miles with Dad and Moxie. Praticing Form and knee drive.
PM Track Pratice. Today was a speed workout. 6 800m with a 400m rest in between. My aim was to run in 2:30's range. I Did it. One mile warm up, 3 mile workout, 1.5 rest, and 1.5 cool dwon. i out ran 2200m winners while running, they were sprinting i was just staring my 4th 800m!!!

PM surge workout at track. mile warmup with 3.5 workout. 800m surge workouts with no real break. i did 7 of them in the wind. i am so sore.

Rigby Invite (2 Miles) 00:12:04, Place overall: 2, Place in age division: 2 | | race day. 1 mile warmup with striders. 3200meter, first time trying this distance. 2nd place in it with 12:03!!!!!! 800meter, i was tired but it was a solid run, 5th place 2:41. 1600meter i ran 5:51 seconds with wind, and got 4th!!!! 1.5 mile warmup/cooldown between.

| | 6 miles today at track. The track coach threw a tantum (no joke for no reason) and sent everyone home without praticing. I stayed because i nedd to train, so i went out to the track did a 2 mile warmup( in the rain and wind alone) then continued into 400m with 200m rest repeats, 6 of them, 85-70 seconds goal. I did them. The slowest was 82 seconds and the fastest 74. Two mile cooldown and then walked home. Really understanding what a diehard runner is and i am happy to be one of them. :)

| | 7.5 miles at track. Today i went a little slower, well i planned on it. 2 mile warmup and then ran hard for 5 minutes and rested for 2-3 minutes. We did 4 of these and i averaged 3 and 1/2 laps. I out ran everyone else by 550 meters. On one them i ran 3 and 3/4 laps in 5 minutes!!!!!! so i had a 100m left which means i probably could have just ran a 5:15ish mile!!!!!!!! On a dirt track!!!! I wasn't working really overly hard so i think i could go even faster!!!!! 1 mile cool down, feeling awesome!!!!

| | 7 miles at track pratice. 3 mile run to bread store and back. Solid pase finished first 3 in 23:15 minutes. Ate a slice of pumpkin chocolate chip bread and ran back in 24 minutes even. I di not see a another teammate until about half way back. I had stpped, ate and crossed cross walks and still no one ran with me. :'(. Came back did mile cooldown. It is sure lonely being a faster long distance runner......

Wolverine Meet (1 Miles) 00:05:49, Place overall: 3, Place in age division: 3 | | Very cold and windy day, a very badly organized meet. They forgot about the 1600m until very late.
2:39 for the 800m (5th) and 5:49 for the 1600m (3rd in a really bad wind). McKay and I ran it pretty easy.
Worse meet yet, ok with my times.

| | 5.1 miles with family. 2 miles with Mum and Kate. Mum actually liked it and Kate had her fasts 2 miles of her life!!!! 19:47!!!! After that Dad and I ran 3.1 at good pace. In the wind i did 3.1 in 20mins. Last .25 was at sub 6 pace and last 150m was at 5:40 pace!!!!

| | 4.25 miles from the school to Tauphaus park to run the high 5 relay course. Distance kids still don't know how to put in a good workout on my team (except for a couple of kids). According to one of my "friends" my dad and I don't really know that much about running.

Sandcreek Meet (1 Miles) 00:05:33, Place overall: 4 | | The Sandcreek meet today. I am frustrated with the running on the track with people cutting me off and guys running on the inside of the lines and not getting DQ'd.
800m in 2:34 for 4th. Outkicked a couple of kids in the last 100m.
1600m in 5;33 new PR! 4th place though as I let the race get away from me in front and did not keep with the front 2 guys. I am going to RACE the conference champs next week and not let them get away.
