Haven't been able to run all week and I have felt lousy.  Finally got myself on the treadmill today.  Put in 4 miles and had a few aches and pains in my feet - not good.  I'm ready to run with the ladies in the morning.

A wonderful morning out with the ladies.  Wore my new shoes once again and still NOT loving them, but I'm off to buy insoles in this morning, and I'm crossing my fingers it helps.  A little nervous for the race on Saturday - my first race back from the baby.  I hope I do okay.

Ran the "We Make A Difference 10K" for the West Jordan Stampede and the Williams family - they are in our neighborhood.  An early start time of 6:00am  it was a little hard because of the constant up hill but I was grateful for Michelle who ran with me the entire time.  My legs were tired and it was NOT enjoyable running, but I finished with a new 10K PR = 59:08!!!!

Got up super early and met the ladies at 5:30.  The weather was absolutely perfect.  We had a good run and it felt good to get the legs going again.  Glad to be home and getting an early start to the day.  Finished the 4.5 miles in 45:11.

Got on the treadmill a little later than I would normally like.  Told myself I just had to do 4.5 and I could go at whatever pace felt good.  I really didn't push it at all and I was okay with that.  I'm really just happy to be done.

It took all day for me to finally make it onto the treadmill.  The kids decided to watch Dora and I was able to get a nice, easy run in.  I did a little toning and stretching afterwards - every little bit helps - right???

Met Jodi and Mauri at 6:00 for our 8 mile run.  We ran down to the temple, which was much hillier than I thought when I was driving it last week.  Once we got to the top of the hill we enjoyed the view of the temple and the valley.  However we were attacked by bugs, so we quickly got on our way.  The run home was long, but good.  What a great way to start the day.

Really felt like I was pushing hard at times this morning.  We finished the route in 44:12.  Ready for the rest of the day.

It was just me and Jodi this morning.  We had a great visit and a comfortable pace.

We decided to go backwards on our route this morning.  It felt like I was running FOREVER!  Bought a new running skirt and had a few problems with it.

Met Laurie this morning at 5:45 (wow that's early for a Saturday) and headed out.  She had mapped a out a route and it was great, until the dirt road.  I am not a fan of dirt and gravel.  We thought it would only be a short part, but I thinking it ended up being about a mile - not fun.  We finished the 9.5 in 1:37:02 - I feel pretty good about that.  We didn't gu or anything so physically I felt it.

My sister, Jody, invited me to run the race.  I knew it would be a rough week because of girls camp, but decided to do it anyway.  I was sooooo tired after 4 days of girls and 3 nights of NO sleep, so I just wanted to finished in around an hour.  I was thrilled when I looked at my watch at mile 1 and saw that I was at 8:44.  I tried to maintain around the 9 minute mark for each mile marker.  Felt pretty good until the last mile and then my legs really started to get tired.  Glad to be done & so happy to have pushed an got a new 10K PR.

Met at 5:45 and headed to the parkway.  I had never been there, but really enjoyed the run - lots of people out this morning.  Legs were/are super sore and tight from yesterdays race.  I hope I can walk tomorrow.

It was an early morning for a run, but I'm sooooooo glad I went.  We were minus Laurie and Michelle, but we kept a pretty steady pace and enjoyed the beautiful weather.  I felt great the entire run and even pushed a little at the end.  I am so glad I went and started my day off right!!

Getting harder to get up and out the door with it being darker in the mornings.  So glad that I got up and went.  Felt great the entire time!
