Really didn't want to run this morning - too many other things to be taken care of.  However, told myself it could just be an easy 3 miles.  Kids really cooperated and the run was great.  Registered for Hobblecreek 1/2 this morning!

Was so happy to get up and run this morning.  Met Jodi and Michelle for our regular loop.  We had a great time chatting and the run felt rather easy, which is a first for me since coming back.  The light drizzle felt so nice towards the end.

Forced myself to get my run done early this morning.  Had all 3 kids playing so that was a good distraction from counting the dots on the treadmill.  Glad to be able to check it off my list for today!

53:32 was my time this morning.  I really pushed on the 2nd and 3rd miles and then my body wanted to quit.  It gets so stinkin hot on the treadmill, but I persevered!  Glad that I kept going and finished all 5 miles - feels good now that it's done!

Decided to run 3 easy miles and mix it up with some circuit training.  I really like doing this because it breaks up the running and I really feel it in my legs/muscles the next day.

It was the annual Fathers & Sons campout this weekend, so it was just me, the baby and the treadmill this morning.  The baby did great crawling/rolling around and playing with every toy his brothers usually take away from him.  I had a very pleasant run and feel very glad to have it done and another week finished.  Now I'm off to a busy day of soccer games, birthday parties, and mother's day gifts.

My plan was to do 5 on the treadmill this morning.  I got the baby to sleep and the twins watching a movie and started out.  The first mile felt great, the second was even good.  Somehow I hit the wall on the 3rd mile and nothing felt good.  I pushed through it and made myself do one more to hit 4, but that is all I could do.  Not really sure what the problem was:  a complete lack of sleep due to a baby that is up all night, eating crappy yesterday, hot.  But whatever it was it was UGLY!!  Hopefully I can regroup and get a solid run in on Wednesday.

Woke up on the wrong side of the bed today.  Knew that I need to run, but coming up with every excuse not to.  Finally I took the kids down and told myself I just had to do 3 miles.  I was pleasantly surprised with the kids played so well and the running actually felt really good.  Glad I did it!

I was so excited to be able to run outside in the beautiful weather this morning.  I love the group of ladies I run with - great conversation the entire time!  Half way through the run my left heal started to hurt and sure enough when I got home I had a blister - bummer.  I was upset to see that the back of my NEW shoe had a hole worn in it.  I've only had the shoes for a month and therefore have put about 85 miles on them - I don't think they should be wearing out already.  I'm thinking about calling the store and seeing they will work with me - is that appropriate???

Got on the treadmill this morning just telling myself I had to do 3 miles.  Everything felt so good that I went ahead and finished 4.

I knew I needed to get 4 miles in today and I told myself that I needed to make them a little faster than normal.  Running on the treadmill I get so hot and I usually prefer to take it easy, but today I pushed a little harder.  I didn't enjoy the run so much, but I was glad to see that I really can go faster if I want to.

Planned on doing my 3 mile circuit workout, but it felt so good and the kids were doing great, so I added on another mile.  I really like working out this way.  It breaks up the run and I feel like my muscles (or lack thereof) are getting some much needed attention.

What a wonderful day to be up and running and finally being able to wear just shorts and a t-shirt!!!  There were 6 of us today and we decided to run the route backwards.  It was a good run and my legs are definitely feeling the squats from yesterday.  I'm off to the cabin to enjoy the day with family and friends.

Missed running with the ladies this morning, but decided to head out by myself at about 6:45.  Really enjoyed the beautiful morning and being alone on the road.  What a great way to start the day!

4 on the treadmill.  Had to jump off a few times to help the kids, but not too bad.  Felt good and glad I was able to maintain a faster speed for over a mile.

What a beautiful morning to go for a run.  I was happy to be able to meet up with Michelle, Jodi and Mauri.  At times it felt like I was going to die and then a minute later I felt like I could go forever - weird.  We are all excited to seriously start our training for Hobblecreek.
