Big peak day! Climbed Les Conturines. Easy start on the Alta Via 1 and then a serious climb finishing with some fun Via Ferrata to get to the summit! Almost 5,000 feet of gain and took me a good 7 hours.

Did some hill sprints up an old ski jump in Cortina to prepare for the Red Bull 400 event in Park City although I am not actually doing it... then drank proseco the rest of the day.

Ran up a mountain (2500') through apple orchards with ridiculous views of Tirolo and took the Hochmut Tram down! Sadly they charge you for the downs in Italy... but it is worth it to save my old lady joints.

Then soaked in warm thermal pools that apparently had radon in them!

Sunrise run with Roo on the BST followed by some very much needed restorative yoga. Now off to spend the next 24+ hours at the Ant Knolls aid station supporting Wasatch 100 runners!

Volunteered at the Ant Knolls aid station on the Wastach 100 course (mile 80) and had and absolute blast. Slept about 15 mintues in 34 hours so now I am pretty sure I could do a hundo!

Roo woke me up for our morning run, but then fell back to sleep on his back snoring and I couldn't bare to wake him so we slept in :) Then we headed out on the BST and I almost had a stoke-atack because this weather feels so good! We're 4 for 5 this week for morning runs. A personal best.

I want to be a dog...

Went up to the Uintas to escape the heat (not something one typically says in late September). Was going to run to Amethyst Lake, but then Bald Mountain looked tempting so I did that. It has been years since I've been to the Uintas and I forgot how pretty it is up there. Rooster and I then walked around Mirror Lake and then played in the Provo River. That makes 3 new peaks for me and Roo since last Sunday!

South ridge of Superior with Jake! I was scared sh!tless doing this for the first time last summer and although I had no interest in ever doing it again I found myself searching for a partner to do it with this weekend and guess what? It was super fun and not scary at all and I can't wait to do it again and I really want to try it solo. Plus we saw the biggest, fluffiest mountain goat on the way down, which is the first time I have ever seen a mountain goat LCC and that is very exciting!
