Got up this morning and Ran. Ran into Superfly and gave him a swat up high. I was impressed he was up so early. hips feel a little sore after the work out. feet feel a little sore. probably need new shoes soon. will do another 3 on the tread mill tonight. People are telling me to hold back a little longer before i start two a days. let my body heal they say. if i start now i will get injured or will burn out? not sure what to do?

Two a days are actually easier on your body if you keep them low-mileage. That is, do your weekly mileage goal in two workouts a day instead of one. If you have the time do it - start with something like 3 in the morning and 5 at night, and build it up.

Hey Bill, I got your email and thought I would just answer your questions here.

I think if you're having issues with your hips and feet after your runs you need to spend extra time stretching, icing, and messaging that area. Don't keep pushing through, or you're going to end-up in a situation similar to mine. Also, because you have had Plantar Fasciitis in the past I would be cautious with your feet being sore.

I agree with what Sasha said above about running two a days. You can still keep your miles low and allow your body some rest time and get the miles in you feel you need. Just don't push too much until your aches and pains from Boston are cleared-up.

See you tonight.

Keep up the good work Bill. Hope to see you both tonight.
