There wasn't a choice for Olympic Gold in the goal section so that's why I put "other"

Dissapointing race today. It wasn't bad, just dissapointing. My race was at 5, and the last thing i ate was a banana at 2:15, but my stomach was giving me issues the whole race. My goal was top 10 in the JV race, but i didn't come anywhere close.

Once the gun went off i settled in around 20th as we went up the asphalt hill. I stayed in this position till probably a half mile in. My stomach started to hurt pretty bad around here. I said screw it in my head and surged up the next hill into about 10th place. Then I threw up on the side of the course for like 5 seconds, but i probably lost close to 15 going through this. After that i said screw my stomach again and ignored the pain and all that crap and moved up into about 15th, about 1.5 miles in. Then I threw up again and probably lost another 15-20 seconds. By then i knew if i pushed it hard anymore i would blow a few more chunks, so i half jogged, half ran the rest of the race. Got passed by tons of people. Sprinted the last 100 and passed a few people. My cooldown was almost as bad as my race.

I'm pretty bumped about this race. I wasn't even tired at the finish line. If i was feeling good i could have gone under 19 i think. Oh well, gonna go kill it at region.
