| So last night I planned out this perfect 11-mile run for this morning! But I ran too slow so it ended up being too long... blah. And I had some running math problems too! Somehow I thought that 8x1:30 (12) plus 7x2:00 (14) was 36 minutes instead of 26, so I started my pushes at an inopportune time instead of waiting until I could do most of them downhill or flat. Unfortunate. Anyway... I did 8x1:30 pushes at 3 w/2:00 recovery in the middle of the run. Felt pretty wiped out from the get-go, so they weren't very fast or good-feeling. Oh well. (GT 168.5)

| Great run today. Started off the run with a neighbor who wanted to try his hand at running. He made it almost a mile and was warn out, so he turned back. I continued on the LV/Fields loop, when I came around to the Summit, I went in and did my weight circuit, then finished the run back home. Went pretty well. (GT 176.6)

| Slept in way late, so instead of braving the 100 degree weather, I drove over to the Summit and ran 88 minutes on the sweatmill. After I finished, I hopped in the pool, then drove home. (GT 187.6)

| Did a version of the Vermillion/LV loop that extended out to the Summit and back so I could do my weight circuit. About 10 minutes in, I started the 8x20 second pushes at 4.5 - forgot that the recovery was supposed to be 1:00, did 40 seconds instead. Randomly, Nikki J drove up next to me in her car as I ran and we talked a bit. Funny stuff. (GT 196.5)

| Got up at some ungodly hour to run down the marathon course with Mike. Went pretty nicely, some slow miles and some fast. I think I'll stick with running with him post-marathon, that way I don't get forced to run sub-7:00's the whole way down! Legs still felt a bit tired out, good thing we took it easy. Had to add on a bit at the end to get to my 2 hours, but Mike was kind enough to help me out. (GT 217.8)
