A little bit of tempo this morning. Did the PV loop, started the 10x1:30 pushes (@3 w/2:00 jog recovery) just past Wendy's. The pushes went reasonably well, most were .22-.23 miles with one .21 where I kinda failed. Still, they went a lot better than last week's! Saw Ells and Steve on the run and exchanged some pleasantries. 'Twas nice. (GT 229.1)

Had to sneak out to avoid a creeper neighbor, but finally got on the road to do the Bloomington loop. Clyde came up behind me a few miles in and we ran together for the rest of my run basically. It was a good run and fun to have some company. After, I went to the gym and did my weight circuit. (GT 237.3)

Put on my crazy five-fingers shoes and did a couple miles with my cousin around the park.

Ran from Cassie's house in Bountiful out to Main and just ran on it out through Centerville and Farmington and back. On the way back, I did 8x20 second pushes @ 4.5 with 1:00 recovery. It rained a bit!! 'Twas so great! And I couldn't resist the urge to run through the huge sprinklers at Viewmont High. So I was pretty drenched when I finished. :) Did 10 minutes of abs when I got back, since I had no access to weights. (GT 257.3)

After all day yesterday painting, plus an all-nighter drive back down from Logan, went running at 6 am on the extended LV loop. Very odd feeling, my legs and body were basically numb from exhaustion, so it was surprisingly easy to run at a good pace. (GT 263.3)

Met up with the club and we drove up the marathon course to run back down. Holt dropped me off a bit after Scott, so I spent the first mile or so catching up to him so I could have some company. Found out that my watch was totally out of batteries, so we stuck together basically the entire way, he stopped for water or to readjust his new inserts a couple times, so I'd just keep running, then turn back around and rejoin him the few times he did (I was keeping track of my run time by clock since I couldn't use my stopwatch). Run went pretty well, felt pretty exhausted and ready to be done by about 10 miles, but I survived! We got back to the old running store and I still had about 12 minutes to go (I blame Holt and his inability with math for that one), so I had to run around the theatre and such a couple times until I was done. Glad to be done with the week and excited to be moving up to Logan soon! (GT 279.8)
