In my fifth semester at Utah State University. A sophomore Cross Country and a junior in Track and Field. Majoring in Math Education, planning to graduate in 2013.

Shin killed me during my 3 mile jog on the track, even biking hurt afterwards. Blah. So I just iced and headed home, started taking ibuprofen to take down the inflammation.

Just did 15 minutes on the water treadmill, then 20 minutes on the bike before weights. Lifted, then Coby tried to rub out my calf in an attempt to make my shin not hurt so ferociously. We can hope!

Before the 3 miles on the track, Coby did combo (stim and ultrasound) on my calf and it helped my shin not hurt quite so much on the run! By the end it hurt lots, but it felt better at the start! Then I did 20 minutes on the bike and headed home.

Stim before doing elliptical for 15 minutes, then biked for 30 minutes. Read The Pale Horse more - it is getting pretty intense.
Coby rubbed out the calf again, it hurt so much, I wanted to cry!

Combo, then 3.5  on the track, then 10 minutes bike, then biked down the Mt. Logan middle school, then ran around the grass loop there 4 times in my Vibrams, then biked back up to the training room and did my exercises. Shin still killing me, foot getting better.

Biked around Logan for 75 minutes. With about 5 minutes left in my ride, I stopped and joined a game of Ultimate for a half hour or so. Pretty great. Shin is hating me much from that and my craziness at the dance last night. Such is life, I guess.

Combo, then my 14 laps on the track. Shin blah blah blah, running slow, then biked for a half hour, then did foam grabs, balance and 4-way hip exercises.

Rode my bike around town for about an hour. Got out before it snowed - yay!

Later at night, warmed up on elliptical for 10 minutes, did a bunch of abs and free weights, then did a 5 minute cooldown on the bike.

At around 2 AM, I roller-bladed for about 90 minutes around campus. During the day, I rode to Quizno's and back to visit Cammie. So I got in about 15 minutes of biking.

Did a mile on the track, then Coby let me go out on the road! Did a total of about 26 minutes. Then I rode the bike for another 25 minutes with a 5 minute push section.

Warmed up a half-mile on the track, then did a little loop out on the TT then got onto the Stokes trail to Elkridge park and back by way of the canal trail. Great to run out on roads and trails! Shin still buggy, but I think its finally starting to get better! Foot was barely noticeable. Starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel! Did 10 minutes on the bike, then went to lift. Coach Matt tried to kill us, I am doomed to be perpetually sore for the next couple weeks!

Again, ran to Summit (20 minutes), then did 15 minutes on the elliptical and 10 minutes on the bike, then ran back home (15 minutes). 

After half the festivities and most of the food, I went on a bike ride with my cousins. We rode down, then up, then back down the Green Valley loop and then home. The sun set while we were on our way down the second time, so I was a bit chilly on the ride home. Good times though!

Rode from home to the bottom of the Bear Claw Poppy trail, then rode up to the top of the drops (and went down them lots of times) then rode back down and home. Pretty great and fun!
