Busy weekend, Saturday in Park City for soccer a tournament. Sunday finishing my Motor Cycle Training class and then drove up to Bear Lake for the day. I was pretty exhausted this morning so I decided to sleep in. Just a short run this morning, I decided to do a 2 mile run and try to push it. I cut about 1 minute off my normal 1st mile up the hill, not too bad especially when I had to stop at about .8 because a dump truck didn't stop at a stop sign and about ran me over.
Splits: 9:00, 7:36, 0:14 (.03 Mile)

Good run this morning. I decided to do the 9 miler since I missed it yesterday. Felt really good until about 7.5 - 8 when it started to get a little warm. Nothing too bad though and I felt fine when I finished.

I'm having a hard time being motivated to run this week, but when I make myself go I'm glad I did and I've had good runs this week.

Hot and humid this morning so I just tried to take it easy. Started feeling kind of quesy just after 2.5 miles but it didn't last very long so I kept going. I've figured out when it gets above 70-75 in the morning I stuggle a little because I'm just not used to running when it's that hot. Despite the heat I added about .6 miles today to my normal run.

The big 3 this morning hot, humid, and windy. Tried to take it nice and easy today again, I'm running a 5K in the morning and I think my daughter and son may run it with me so that will be nice. I'm looking forward to that I hope they run with me.

Race For Life (3.1 Miles) 00:28:30 | |
Race for Life in Ogden this morning. This is a 5K race/2 mile walk to benefit 3 families. Not a very good course if you were looking to make a good time. It started on the Odgen River Walk at Grant Ave. Very narrow and hard to run, my son ended up running with me and we were basically walking for around .5 or so just trying to get around people. But we weren't there to get a good time we were there to benefit the families. My son did great, he ran with me the whole way. He doesn't run at all and didn't train for this.
Splits:
Mile 1: 10:03 (Just trying to get around runners and walkers at this point) The end of the first mile is westward up the 21st street viaduct.
Mile 2: 8:57 Not so many people to go around, heading back east up the 21st street viaduct again.
Mile 3: 8:48 Passing more people.
Last .1: 0:40
