Stay fit and healthy. Run a decent Boston and St. George marathon.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Keep fit and stay semi-competitive as long as I can.
I have a wonderful wife and son and we live in Riverton/Herriman Utah. I am a high school teacher, and head coach for cross country and track at Mountain Ridge High.
3 miles in the hot afternoon after lifting. Achilles doesn't seem much better in most ways, which is extrememly frustrating! 7:37 ave
This run hammered me!
Evening run after the XC parent meeting. Achilles has been stiff since Monday. Got 3 in tonight though. 7:40 ave
Took the day off and ran in the morning. Achilles has been a mess again, but I did some good prep and got going after a while. Went on a 4 mile loop at7:37 ave. Felt way out of shape!
5 mile with Jaren down Salt Creek Caynon from Cottonwood down the the High and a bit extra. Achilles was pretty stiff and it took a while to get going. It was really bad after, even after icing in the glasier river that was Salt Creek. 7:10 ave.
