50 min arc trainer and 40 minutes elliptical. I've been working my core at home these days along with a lot of stretching for my issues.

I think I am going to very reluctantly register for 2 run13 5k's on May 7th, and on May 28th.  Last year I was 4th female on the first one, and the open female winner of the 2nd one. This year I had goals to be the open winner on both. I may not be able to run right now, but those will still be my goals. I know  I have the drive and the determination to do it.

And as a side note, I think it's pretty cool that I can race all distances and do very well. I don't shine in just one distance and I feel really proud of that. I have sorta conquered them all   :)

1 hr 35 minutes on the elliptical with Julie and Kira. Julie got the really tight elliptical and she said she felt like her legs were quivering when she was done. Poor quivering Julie ;)

At home I lifted my free weights and worked my core. My injury seems to be feeling somewhat better. I hope it's a trend that continues. I can't wait for the first time I can run again. At times I can't believe how much I miss it.

Bought some new Nike free's.They feel good and I can't wait to be able to run in them

1 hour arc trainer, and 30 minutes elliptical. My tail bone area hurts today and I thought I lost my ipod this morning. I couldn't find it. Realized  left it at the gym yesterday morning. I asked the front desk girl if it was in Lost and Found. She looked and said no. Worked out the whole time without music. It was horrible people. On my way out I stopped and asked to look myself, whatdya know I found it. She doesn't know how to look. Durr.

I don't want to hurt anymore. I am sick of being injured. I want to run again and run FAST. I am pissed off most of the time and that's not cool. I don't even feel like the same person anymore.

Running please come back...

I was out kind of late and so I didn't set my alarm, Opps. I woke up at 5:15 and made it to the gym by 5:30. I learned some new stretches last night in PT. So I climbed on an elliptical for 15 minutes, then I stopped and stretched. The back on the elliptical for 50 minutes. Then I lifted.

6 weeks injured today.

It's Cafe rio Friday. Eat away the sorrow.

2 hours of elliptical today. I know, 2 hours right?? That's a lot, but it was needed and I did just fine. My body is use to it. :)

Good news. My injury (SI joint and pirfomis) are feeling so so much better. I can tell I am at a turn around point. I think I will wait a couple more weeks before I try to run. But I can feel a difference. Fingers crossed.
