PRs: Fleet Feet Turkey Trot 5k- 19:46;  St. George Marathon  3:07:11(2013-- coming back from the dead)  Utah Valley Marathon 2011- 3:09:13 : D  1st place Master Division, 7th Overall; Mt. Nebo 1/2 Marathon 2011- 1:19:35- 2nd Overall,  first master. Ogden Marathon 3:14  (2010); 10K 2011 Speedy Spaniard 40:47.  I have run 40 marathons: 16 St. George (1995, 2006-2019, 2024). Utah Valley (2011, 2014, 2025), Eiluj (2011), Deseret News (2015: 3:40 pacer  & 2023),  Ogden (2009, 2010), Boston (1996,2012,2014,2018, 2024,2025)Top of Utah (1999, 2011 pacer), and SLC (2006,2015), Pocatello (3:40 pacer 2012),park city marathon 3:41:53 (2013), and Big Cottonwood pacer (2017,2018),  Nebo Marathon 340 pacer (2024)Timp trail marathon (2021) and three Ultras-Squaw Peak 51.25 miler 2010 in 12:05:27 (9th woman) and  Antelope Island  (32 miler) in  March 2011 (4th overall in 5:10:25) and in 2009.

slovenia recovery jog with 15 percent inclines that he walked so i did

tried out new saucony endorphin speed 4  seem good

8 miles on tm at vasa started at 6mph so 10 pace eased up over 3 miles.  stopped and stretched.  did those 3 in 9:33 avg

then next five started at 6.7 mph ended at 7.3 mph for last half mile increased before that every 0.75 miles with every 8-9 min a min pick up to 7.7 mph x 3 then 7.8 mph then 8 mph for last one (one each mile) . 8:30 avg for these five miles.

8 easy with Amber (her first long run training day) from mouth of provo canyon (car at parking lot). Quite windy and cold at first.  Amber underdressed as usual.  Thank goodness she had her fuzzy gloves!!  We only stopped at turn around and me at icy spot under the bridge.  No risk taking.  And me once when I saw Julie e coming back up so had to "sprint" to catch back to amber.  two min total and a couple seconds.

love my new running shoes- saucony endorphin speed 4s Sunny is the color. White with sunny yellow.  White helps me be glad there is not snow on the ground!  Thankful when the sun peaks at the end of a run.
