| Met the BBK's at the 9800 S. trail. We warmed up for 4.2 miles. Average pace 8:59. Then I ran a 4.5 mile tempo run with Kelli and Jody. The miles were 8:03, 8:02, 7:41 and 7:28. Then we cooled down for .80. Average pace for the last 5.3 was 8:04. |

| Met the BBK's to run the Riverton 1/2 course. It was so windy again. Most likely it will be like that for the race so it's good practice I guess. Eight of us stayed in a little pack for the first 9 miles. It helped to block the wind a little. At the end of the trail, (just under 9 miles) Dean had drinks and donuts for us. I had a little piece of donut. It was yummy. Then I finished the next 3 miles with Becky and Nancy R. I decided to end it at mile 12 so I could hurry back and get ready for Lisa's husbands funeral. It was a good run. Average pace 8:26. |

5 miles outside after the kids left for school. I have a hard time running this late. My blood sugar levels get all messed up. The first 3 miles where miserable then I was able to get into a rhythm. Average pace 9:37. |

| Met the BBK's at Temple hill. We warmed up for 4.10 miles. Then we ran a 20 minute tempo run. We went out 10 and turned around and came back. I finished the second half exactly where I started, so my splits were right on. Then we ran 2 more miles up and down lots of hills. Then we cooled down a bit. The last 5 miles were 7:29, 7:28, 7:58, 8:15 and 9:00. Average 8:03. |

| Met the BBK's at Cheris' house. We ran the big loop out to Bluffdale and back around. My splits don't look all that fast, but the backs of my legs feel pretty sore. My miles were 9:17, 8:58, 8:47, 8:52, 8:35, 8:20, 8:24, 8:15, 8:07, 7:56, 8:10, 8:31, and 8:57. Average pace 8:33. |

| Met the BBK's at Bingham. Warmed for 3 miles with Walter and Kris. It was fun to hear about Moab 1/2. Then back to Bingham for the main workout. Mike had a great interval workout planned for us. We warmed up for a mile and then started. The super speedy guys got ahead and so Kelli, Nancy R. and I just kept a semi fast pace just trying to catch up to them. It was a great run. Kelli and Nancy were great to run with and the time flew by. About a quarter mile from the cars I rolled my ankle. It hurt really bad, but I don't think it will keep me from running at all. My mile splits were 9:23, 8:37, 8:32, 8:47, 7:55, 8:07, 7:40, 8:09, 7:49, and 8:13. Average pace 8:20. |

I love these hometown races where I can show up 15 minutes before the start.
I decided to start with Michelle M. and Dean. Their plan was to start slower and pick it up as they went. I knew I wouldn't be able to keep up with them, but it was it great to run with them as long as I did.
1- 8:09 Planned on running slower, but the pace felt easy.
2- 7:57 Same
3- 7:44
4- 7:50 big hill in this one
5- 7:46 had a gu just before the water stop. Saw Kelli and Rachael at the stop.
6- 7:32 I watched Michelle and Dean fly down the hill. No way I could keep up. I saw Taylor's XC Teammate Michael going up the big trail hill. He looked strong. I figured he'd pass me back after the hill.

8- 7:44 I saw Cheryl and Michelle in this mile cheering us on. I loved seeing everyone from our group. It helped a ton.

10- 8:10 I could feel myself struggling here. My stomach was really hurting.
11- 8:29 We were running into the wind. It really took a lot out of me.
12- 8:09 I got passed back by two girls I had passed a little earlier. I wish I was more competitive. I really didn't care that they passed me. One of them was in my age group too.
13- 7:52 So glad to almost be done.

I wanted a 1:43, so I am happy with my time. It was a very organized race. Our group wore blue and salmon colored ribbons in honor of Lisa's husband who passed away 3 weeks ago.

Met the BBKs at the SJ library. It was very windy, but it was also hot. I could tell that my legs were still tired from the race on Saturday. Michelle M. was in charge. We did some 700s with a short recovery. Cheris and I ran back to the cars with Lisa instead of doing the last repeat. Then we could cooled down around the parking lot. Average pace 8:29.
