8pm slow solo run in our neighborhood. I will drive 400 or so miles tomorrow plus spent 10 hours at the office. This is one way to put in a few miles. 2.25 at a 10 minute pace.

| MY RUNNING LIFE:
I consider myself a lifetime runner. I ran track and cross country in middle school. In college, I ran a little to blow off steam. Heidi was running marathons whenever we met. I just picked up the mileage a little to spend quality time together. Since then, I have kept running to keep my mental and physical health balanced. I must say I have grown to love running. Probably my worst experience running was my first marathon. It was the 2006 Derby Festival Marathon. I felt that I could BQ. Little did I know that I was not even close to being ready physically or mentally. It took 8 more years and several more tries to BQ. I finally qualified in 2014 at Shamrock Marathon in Virginia Beach. I felt best at this marathon finishing the last 10 miles at a sub 7 minute pace.
Lately, I have noticed that I've actually been getting slower. Therefore, I'm studying my running style and researching how I can switch things up so that I can get back to improving. I will keep you up to date on how this is working out.
